I had the pleasure of experiencing the extraordinary flavours of Indian food from The Great Indian Kitchen’s food delivery service. The delivery was prompt and arrived right on time. Opening the neatly packaged meal, I was impressed by the attention of detail. The packaging not only maintained the food’s temperature but also preserved its freshness and aroma. The food was amazing and flavours were authentic. I look forward to ordering from them again.

We had our Onam Sadhya here. Nice cozy place and service was warm. Food was delicious as well. There is parking in Sainsbury’s right opposite for an hour if required. Will definitely be back for other delicacies.

Came here with friends for lunch on Saturday. The staff were very friendly and recommended their signature dish- paal parotta which was finger licking good. The chatti choru came with chicken 65, omelette, fish fry, aviyal, thoran, pickles and coconut chutney - enough to make you feel full. Their fish pollichath and soft appams are a must try. Overall had a great lunch and left feeling content ☺️

What a delightful treasure of Brixton.
I had been searching for a good curry house in Brixton and by Jove this is the one.
Absolutely delicious food, the service was super polite and attentive, not over bearing.
I actually quite like the fading wall art from the former Caribbean restaurant restaurant and coffee house which must have occupied the space.
Nice background music, did not have to ask for more water like you do at dishoom where you get forgotten.
This place is great! I hope the folks running this place stay a while and I can enjoy many more currys!
The Lamb Rogan was ace.

I have visited the great Indian kitchen several times now. They really really make several dishes with authentic Indian taste. Last year I went there during the Onam festival and the Onam sadya meals was just amazing. I totally loved it. It had an authentic South Indian taste.
I would recommend this to anyone who wants to try authentic Indian dishes

Nice and cosy family friendly restaurant with variety of Indian food.Friendly and welcoming staff will definitely make you feel at home. The Kizhi and kothu dishes we tried out were just perfect with correct level of spices( not too less not too high).Would highly recommend to anyone who wishes to try out some authentic and tasty Indian food.
