I recently visited with my husband, 5 year old and 8 year old. We had driven down from Peterborough to the funeral directors next door but they messed us about and we had an hour and half to get through. Chai was the perfect place for us. The staff were really warm and welcoming, there was a loo to use and the kids enjoyed their cakes and smoothies. It was honestly shaping up to be a horribly traumatic trip but the kindness the staff showed, without knowing our story, went a long way to soothe me that day. A nice place to eat, run by genuinely good people.
Quaint little cafe along the High Street, cute and colourful decor hand-in-hand with a tasty and colourful menu. Friendly owner and staff. Fresh rosemary and thyme growing out front bringing a nice touch to the ambience too.
