I was visiting London for a few days, and while I was walking down the street, I looked into the window of this restaurant. I liked the style and the light setup. I stepped in, and I was welcomed by the reception and invited to sit down for lunch. The staff was very professional and with a keen eye on my necessities. They were very helpful in describing to me the kind of kitchen the chef offers. It’s mostly an idea of Italian cuisine with some Japan elements. The mix is very well done. Portions are fair and I was left satisfied with the quantity overall. Quality was very high in my opinion, with a rare search for ingredients and dish composition. The waiter was able to advise me well and provide all the explanations I required. The place was spotless and well-lit. The menu is small, but in my opinion, this is justified by the high quality of the raw materials and the preparation. Prices were fair considering the quality and quantity. Good selection of international wines. Two options for dessert which is home-made and really good.

It was a good experience of Italian and Japanese fusion. Some have worked quite and some need more refinement.
We had shrimp tempura and bread with seaweed butter for starters which both were nice.
For main, we had truffle carbonara which was slightly heavy on cheese but had fresh spring truffle shreds which is always a plus , octopus puttanesca which was really good and both were al dente which made their texture very pleasing.
We also had spicy miso lamb which was really amazing.
The wild cabbage on the side though was very bland and lacked any remarkable taste.
The highlight of the table was the deconstructed tiramisu for me which had really complex layers of taste and was perfectly done.
The staff were amazingly kind and attentive.

Great restaurant with innovative Japanese-Italian dishes. But the pricing is crazy - £10 for a single tempura courgette flower. £20+ for a primi/starter portion of pasta, that goes for like £10-15 even at great places like Manteca.
The food is definitely good and well executed. I highly recommend the prawn tempura, red prawn starter, the octopus puttanesca pasta. The monkfish was good, but average compared to the other dishes.
Overall, it needs to be at least 30% cheaper.
Even cocktails are like £15+ each, with soft drinks like Coke at £6...!
(Note: there are some sites that you can book in advance for 50% off the menu. I did this. At 50% off, the prices are good value for the quality of the dishes).

We had the most amazing dinner last night. The chef prepared a tasting menu for four and we added the zucchini flowers to it. Everything was delicious. The service was a little slow but impeccable and we had the best time. Thoroughly recommend.

I can’t say more than that. The food is literally AMAZING, fine dining, the venue is stunning with a super qualify staff. Definitely a 5 starts restaurant. Thanks to the barman Andrea for creating an unique cocktail, also the rest of the staff is lovely, they pay attention to details, loved it!

Went to this restaurant in Fitzrovia last week with some friends who strongly suggested it after being there before. Overall I really liked this Italian/Japanese concept as never tried it before and we also liked the “tapas” style of dishes as it gave the opportunity to try a good portion of the menu. Mazzara del Vallo prawns and spicy wild seabass were just remarkable and the pasta was perfectly cooked. We also tried the robata and it didn’t disappoint!! Finally the honey and milk dessert was the perfect way to finish our dinner

Excellent!! All the dishes we had from starters to desserts were very delicous😋 We ordered courgette flower tempura which was stuffed with ricotta cheese on the bed of garden pea paste, wild seabass sashimi, burrata with pappa al pomodoro&shredded squid sashimi-interesting combination but were perfectly matched, sea urchin pasta was also delicious with a hint of lemon flavour, and octopus puttanesca was super, and yogurt mousse and fiordilatte gelato. Staff is also attentive. We were there for soft launch offer but will definitely come back!!
