Flat Iron Waterloo

I had a great experience here. I popped in for a quick lunch for 1 and decided on the flat iron steak and the crispy bone marrow and garlic mash. The food arrived in good time and was delicious, I enjoyed every mouthful. I washed it down with a pillars pilsner. A steak lunch and a beer for £23.50, what a bargain. Oh and to add the cherry on top I was given a delicious complimentary ice cream cone as I left.

Really enjoyed the food here. The steak was very tasty (a tiny bit chewy but for the price it's very good). The mushroom sauce was great. The chips, mac and cheese and creamed spinach were also amazing. And you get a free ice cream after too. Definitely recommend this place if you want a tasty meal, with friendly staff in a quieter part of Waterloo. I would suggest that you pre book a table as it can get busy.

Walked past this restaurant and thought it would a cute place to have dinner after a long day. Absolutely DID NOT DISAPPOINT. The waiter was very nice and answered questions we had and also gave recommendations. We went with the Flat Iron Steak and Flat Iron Sirloin with Crispy Bone Marrow Garlic Mash. We also got the Bearnaise and smoked chili mayo, but to be fair the steak was seasoned so well we did not need anything else. 5/5 would recommend. Oh and you get ice cream as desert, and complementary popcorn as a starter. Only sad part is that they ran out of wagyu, i was super excited to try!

First of all, the staff in this branch are very nice and accommodating! That in itself is already a win! Honestly, they are the best! I said that because we celebrated a friend’s hen do in here and their service is just phenomenal. There were 9 of us and we really enjoyed our stay in the restaurant. I personally had their burger and mac and cheese for the first time (as our staple would always be their steak and creamed spinach and aubergine side) and the burger did not disappoint at all. It was juicy and tasty. Their new side, mac and cheese, is also heavenly. We will definitely go back many many times! Thank you to the Waterloo Staff 💕💕💕

Came on a Friday for dinner as a larger group (7) and were seated in a private area downstairs. Servers were incredibly friendly and helpful, drinks were good and the food was fantastic. Everything was a reasonable price and the restaurant even try to accommodate those that can't eat the steak (the aubergine can be chosen as a main). The ice cream at the end is definitely worth going for!

Came here after some drinks on a Friday. It was quiet as it was late and the staff were super friendly. Can’t go wrong with Flat Iron steak, and I love their sides! Easy go-to meal in London! (The free ice-cream after your meal is a bonus and lovely end to the meal too!) Dimly lit and romantic with amazing food!

Visited on Friday as I was recommended it. Had the burger and was honestly one of the best burgers I ever had. What was even more lovely, was meeting the team and see how much love they have for each others and how that reflects on the service they give to customers. You can tell they are genuinely happy to be there. Thank you for the amazing experience, the guys in the picture were lovely and was great to meet them. Thank you. I’ll be back next time I’m in London ;)
