Nice cafe on the Covent Garden plaza. No reservation late lunch, seated upstairs which had an overview of the plaza and buskers. Had the cauliflower soup and chicken in tarragon mushroom cream sauce, both dishes very flavorful. Excellent service! Enjoyable experience.
Sitting next to the window you can enjoy a beautiful view at Covent Garden. We only had a coffee - taste was good but price was more expensive than we though by paying £5 for a cappuccino. Service was nice but we had to order at the bar as no one was asking us what we would like to order.
Went for Father's day ,free Old-fashioned cocktail and whisky chocolates to the Dad's. Had the 3 course Sunday roast, I had the beef with all three trimmings ,with Smoked salmon for starters and Poached pears and cream for dessert. All the courses were great ,with the gravy for the beef especiall
Really impressed with the food! We ordered from the pre-theatre and the food was exquisite. Excellent value, especially when you include the wine. The restaurant itself is cosy and intimate and has lovely decorations. Servers were very attentive and friendly.
Lovely experience from beginning to end. The ground floor is the bar where the barista threw this lovely drink together, lychee, vodka and I believe rose syrup not sure if there was any other ingredients. We were then taken upstairs to the restaurant, beautiful setting especially when the sun starts
The food here was nice, well prepared with good ingredients and cooked well. Tasty flavours with impact. The staff were nice and helpful. The atmosphere was a bit lacking though and that place feels a little unfinished
We really liked it here. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The restaurant has a nice relaxed feel about it. The food is really good! We opted for bread & dips + the signature sausage roll which was impressive & meaty. We both then went for the Beef & Bone pie! - Wow! + various sides The rasp
A wonderful gastronomic experience. Superb! We had the tasting menu, and, like a masterful conductor in a culinary symphony, Mark led us wonderfully through a delightful journey, skillfully orchestrating a selection of dishes, culminating in a crescendo of a de-constructed Eton Mess. A truly amazing
We had a really lovely meal here. The food was good and the service super friendly. My only gripes are the tables are quite close together which meant staff and other customers often knocking into my chair. And I think the price is fairly high for the food but accept this may be down to the locatio
Inventive, well presented, perfectly balanced food. Super 8 course tasting menu, and the wine pairings worked well sometimes. Front of house greeter was shambolic and far from welcoming, but the in restaurant waiters were excellent. I liked the Scottish touches with the food.
By far the most exciting menu I’ve come across - I’m so glad I got to try their December menu just in time! The ‘mushroom on toast’ was absolutely wonderful but every course was cooked perfectly, with a great wine selection. The restaurant itself had a fun and intimate yet understated ambience and i
Thought the food was very nice (particularly the cod and chicken). I got the 50% off for its soft launch but it would be quite otherwise. The artichoke, beetroot and cabbage sides were also very good. The beef and bone marrow pie had puff pastry at the top rather than an actual pie.
We had a lovely dinner here and made use of the 50% off all food thanks to their soft launch. The table overlooked the famous Covent Garden piazza which meant we had dinner and a show! This was a lovely on a warm august evening. To begin we had the warm stottie cake with the whipped Devon crab butte
Amazing food, great service and atmosphere! Highly recommend the sea bass and raspberry pavlova, but everything else was still very good 👍
Dinner: 5⭐ but (Bistro 1⭐) We order the preset menu we had the salmon and pork for appetizers and cods for the main. The cod fillets were cooked to perfection. To top it all off the raspberry pavlova is out of this world! Friendly and welcoming service. Will definitely go back and try the dinner m
Lovely 8-course set dinner experience with lots of creative and delicious dishes. The wine pairings and descriptions by the sommelier were delightful. Will have to come back after the menu “Pivot”s every month. 👍
