Nice cafe on the Covent Garden plaza. No reservation late lunch, seated upstairs which had an overview of the plaza and buskers. Had the cauliflower soup and chicken in tarragon mushroom cream sauce, both dishes very flavorful. Excellent service! Enjoyable experience.

Sitting next to the window you can enjoy a beautiful view at Covent Garden. We only had a coffee - taste was good but price was more expensive than we though by paying £5 for a cappuccino. Service was nice but we had to order at the bar as no one was asking us what we would like to order.

Went for Father's day ,free Old-fashioned cocktail and whisky chocolates to the Dad's. Had the 3 course Sunday roast, I had the beef with all three trimmings ,with Smoked salmon for starters and Poached pears and cream for dessert. All the courses were great ,with the gravy for the beef especially special .My wife had the fish and again the sauce served with the meal was delicious. The service was attentive and friendly, had a good chat with Adam who gave first class service. The wines we had by the glass were all good and the freebies at the end a nice touch .The table we had gave great views across Covent Garden .Only downside was the toilet up two flights of stairs ,no problem for youngsters but for us old ens after a few beffies.

Really impressed with the food! We ordered from the pre-theatre and the food was exquisite. Excellent value, especially when you include the wine. The restaurant itself is cosy and intimate and has lovely decorations. Servers were very attentive and friendly.

Lovely experience from beginning to end. The ground floor is the bar where the barista threw this lovely drink together, lychee, vodka and I believe rose syrup not sure if there was any other ingredients. We were then taken upstairs to the restaurant, beautiful setting especially when the sun starts to set the mood lighting in there is stunning. We had a lovely server who was so friendly and bubbly. The bone marrow dip was such good quality I have never had a dip like that before I loved it all. Grilled langoustine was divine! But the best part was the beef and bone marrow pie it just melted in your mouth the flavours was to die for. It was so well made. The quality you cannot dismiss it is not your every day priced meal but it is not overpriced for what you are getting, highly worth it. My pavlova was also very nice I was very full by this point. My friend said her cod was very nice and she loved the sticky toffee pudding. They have currently an offer if you prebook with the offer PIVOTSUMMER you get 50% off food so you get really good value for money. What should have been a £136 bill was £68 and then once split the bill amongst 2 people I only paid £34 that is an amazing saving for food well worth the price even at full price. Beautiful location in the covent garden square where you can see people enjoying the last of their summer outside. If it's not obvious you must go!

The food here was nice, well prepared with good ingredients and cooked well. Tasty flavours with impact. The staff were nice and helpful. The atmosphere was a bit lacking though and that place feels a little unfinished

We really liked it here. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The restaurant has a nice relaxed feel about it. The food is really good! We opted for bread & dips + the signature sausage roll which was impressive & meaty. We both then went for the Beef & Bone pie! - Wow! + various sides The raspberry pavlova with salted caramel sauce was one of the best deserts I have had in a long time, we shared one but I know that would change if we return! 500ml Carafe of wine was £16...we did 2. We had the Al-A-Carte menu but they also do a pre-theatre offering. I think we have discovered a little gem that we will return to.

A wonderful gastronomic experience. Superb! We had the tasting menu, and, like a masterful conductor in a culinary symphony, Mark led us wonderfully through a delightful journey, skillfully orchestrating a selection of dishes, culminating in a crescendo of a de-constructed Eton Mess. A truly amazing performance! Splendid execution and exquisite presentation of high quality ingredient dishes matched by extraordinary service. Special mention to Lawrence, whose professionalism, friendliness and patience explaining the dishes to us was just outstanding. A memorable evening indeed!

We had a really lovely meal here. The food was good and the service super friendly. My only gripes are the tables are quite close together which meant staff and other customers often knocking into my chair. And I think the price is fairly high for the food but accept this may be down to the location and/or inflation.

Inventive, well presented, perfectly balanced food. Super 8 course tasting menu, and the wine pairings worked well sometimes. Front of house greeter was shambolic and far from welcoming, but the in restaurant waiters were excellent. I liked the Scottish touches with the food.
