Taco Queer

Recently renamed to Taco Lima I believe. My partner and I went for dinner and loved it! Authentic food (the ceviche taco was especially good), strong drinks (the Margheritas in particular) and welcoming staff who talk to you about the food. There are few good options in Lewisham, but this is one of them. Will be returning with friends soon!

It was our first visit there and we didn’t know what to expect, but we had the most fun in ages! A tiny LGBTQ+ space in SE London serving some Mexican/ Peruvian food and with a dash of fabulosity from drag queens! The waiting staff very attentive, 900ml frozen margaritas were delicious and refreshing. Oh and the entertainment! What a night full of laughs! We can’t wait to go back and enjoy that little space again!

Gayest tacos ever and they were very tasty. Decor is awesome, staff are lovely and it being queer owned and operated is the lime squeeze on top of a great meal. Frozen Margaritas are slightly weak but still tasty and refreshing, definitely coming back again. Super unique dining experience in the most unlikely of places.

Can't believe how long it took me to discover this place! We went on a very quiet night and enjoyed several cheap happy hour cocktails which were really good (especially the signature Pisco sour), as well as lovely service. Even at full price the drinks are good value, and the bartender was very willing to make off-menu cocktails too. I also think the decor in this bar is just fantastic, with the walls covered in custom-made art by famous Peruvian chicha artist Elliott Tupac. I love that it bills itself as an LGBTQ+ bar, though it is clearly welcoming to anyone (just be nice!).

Lovely place, happy hour between 5 and 7 is very good. The food offering is great while you have drinks. The music is great too of course if you're into Latino music. Finally the staff are so friendly and accommodating. Importantly this bar is LGBT friendly and I felt so comfortable. Tienes que visitar este bar si te gusta un ambiente relajado y cómodo. Very cute welcoming little Latino LGBT+ bar. The staff are so nice and helpful and we ordered some food which is brought from the Peruvian kitchen next door and it was 👌🏼 Try the cassava chips and empanadas, they are yum! Cocktails are really good and colourful. I suggest the piña colada and passion fruit frozen margarita 😉

Wow...couldn’t wait any longer. The lockdown is just over today, I went to this pub alone this evening. Although I missed the ‘free drink’ promotion (from 4-6pm and I got there a quarter to 7!! Grrrr), my favourite cocktail margarita was just £5!!! 🤩Woohoo... 🥳 The marshmallow was amazing, it reminded me winter season! Outside and inside the pub looked very festive and Christmas!! Can’t believe Christmas is near!! I also ordered a meal there, I forgot to take a photo of the menu though. The food was very tasty and very hot!! Hopefully the Tier 2 restriction will be off in near future, it is certainly a good place to chill with friends.
