I was attracted by the amazing photo advertising in front of this new restaurant. I gave myself a treat to go for lunch yesterday - 2/12/2022 - Friday. I was surprised by the delicious taste of the food. End up, I order takeaway too. ❤️The service was good. And the dishes I ordered were splendid, and delicious 😋. I will definitely go back again. Highly recommended ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Honestly surprised that one year after opening, this restaurant has so few reviews, and that it was so quiet on a Saturday evening. We were three, ordered various veggie and a lamb dish, and everything was tasty, served quickly and friendly. Would go again!
North East China speciality on the side streets of King's Cross. Cosy ambience. Walked in, as a three- some and found a table for four. Otherwise all tables taken so lucky. Spicy and very flavoursome. Beef was and soft and just right temperature on the pallete. £62.50 for four dishes and two beers. Good value for the location.
I had an absolutely amazing experience! The food was sensational and it is definitely one of the best Chinese restaurants in UK! The place is completely packed all the time so try and visit early.
Fantastic Chinese restaurant in the heart of kings cross. The staff were very attentive, the food was delicious, authentic and affordable.
I Would definitely recommend the double cooked sweet and sour pork as a stand out dish.
It’s the best Chinese restaurant I’ve visited in London in 8 years, for the cost it’s fantastic.
A fantastic new addition to Kings Cross. In what was once the much loved Royal Thai, Xin Kai has arrived with authentic Sichuan and North Eastern Chinese food having opened this week. The menu is an assortment of traditional dishes such as chili with chicken (loads of ma la), smacked cucumbers, noodles, dumplings, water boiled pork and plenty of other dishes to try so something for everyone. And plenty of Sichuan peppercorns. 🌶 🌶 🌶
Super friendly service from all staff and a casual atmosphere.
Welcome to the neighbourhood! 🥢
Authentic food, tasty, reasonable priced. Chef seems to be well trained professional knowing the essence of Sichuan cushion.
Went in today with friend for North eastern Chinese cuisine. The food are great with very good price for London. Would come back again.
Outstanding this restaurant, based on the Google reviews (thanks lovely people) we ate here last night. For London the prices were reasonable but the food was amazing. Cumin Lamb not deep fried and it was so tender, shredded pork with garlic sauce was very good and a good hit of heat. Give them a go!
We went in for a spot of lunch and what a pleasant surprise! - food is authentic, presentation is great and the service is fantastic. Loved it! Will definitely go again!
