German, who was at the till, was brilliant, very friendly, helpful and smiley. A pleasure to get our drinks here today. We got a babyccino and it was the right temperature. We asked for extra sprinkling of cocoa and they were very happy to oblige. Thank you.

Update: about half the Batista's there are now friendly nice people, for the other half refer to previous comments:
Something has happened to the workers of pret... Whereas we used to get hyper efficient and slightly embarrassingly flirtatious service, now the poor workers seem depressed, tired and outnumbered by life. I miss the good ol'days...
