Pret A Manger

Lovely cafe, yes prices are very Gucci’esque however it is freshly baked, tasty food. Lovely staff. I see people complaining about no bathroom. Maybe plan your day a bit better and go before you leave your house, or just go next door to Nero. No need to get so angry. Also, we are moving into a cashless society and this Pret is commencing it’s move. Yes it can be frustrating, however, it’s a lot healthier being cashless.

Updated after first week. Settling in well and staff seemingly enjoying themselves much better. Diana in particular now a really friendly person and always a great welcome from her Still wish for longer opening hours but not in branch hands presumably First few days Just settling in as a new opening and hopeful ongoing stability. Staff still a little unsure of what to do, which is to be expected but instead of being charming about their inexperience, there seems to be an undercurrent of muttering and abruptness. Hope it improves to become more welcoming. The one real complaint is they seem to set their own closing time, no matter what the window display says. Today Saturday it's closed and deserted by 5:20pm. Not great for those of us who want to order late afternoon

It’s a Pret! 🤷‍♂️ This shop is nice, clean and bright. It does just what Pret usually does: offering decent sandwiches 🥪 and some other delicious things - for example tasty filled croissants 🥐 or soft, chocolatey cookies 🍪 . As it’s a relatively small location, seating is somewhat limited. But there are also some chairs & tables outside to enjoy a sandwich in the sun ☀️ - or just have a breath of fresh air while eating.
