Exceptional service at Block Soho, the staff were very welcoming, efficient and attentive. We had pre-booked a set menu, but ordered additional things aside from the three courses. Overall the food was excellent - delicious steak, and pork ribs, and the sides are excellent. We enjoyed the coleslaw, mac & cheese, and truffle chips. I appreciated that the staff informed us that the dishes are served with not much/any accoutrements, and so ordering sides is pretty essential. I would have liked to see more green vegetables / green options in the sides - there is just a tomato salad, the coleslaw, and a Caesar salad available by way of extra vegetables, the rest of the sides being variations on chips and potatoes. The salmon tartare starter unfortunately was very bland and didn’t taste of anything let alone salmon, with no supporting zingy flavours. The chocolate torte for pudding was also a bit of a disappointment - much smaller than the image on their website homepage - and very oily. However, everything else was superb. We thoroughly enjoyed the cocktails including the Block’s Fizz, an interesting take on a French 75, and they offer an extensive wine list offering wines, of which we very much enjoyed a carafe of Spanish White Rioja.

90 minutes Bottomless Brunch. The drinks keep coming as long as you finish the one with you. The food is one main item from the menu, and then you can order (at your own cost) extra stuff. The food is good. Enjoyed it. Think they may have been a bit short-handed, as we had to wait at different times between drinks. But whenever they noticed, the next drink was made available.

Soho is always super vibey during the weekend so what a place to be for a bottomless brunch 🤪 @blocksoho offering is £29.99pp for the main course and unlimited drinks for 90 minutes. . 🍹For drinks you can pick from: Prosecco Block fizz (gin based) Passionfruit collins (vodka based) - my favourite . For food we had: 🧇Bacon and Maple Waffles with poached eggs - portion looked small but was actually quite filling! 🥩Sirloin steak, eggs and chips 🌽Corn on the Cob 🍅Heritage tomato salad 🧀Mac 'n Cheese 🍟Truffle Fries 🍫Chocolate tart . All the sides and desserts are charged extra. In my opinion, it's quite a good price for a main and unlimited drinks in case you have multiple drinks. However, I might have been a bit hungry if we didn't order the extra sides as the portions seemed to be moderate. Food quality is good but nothing extra special you will remember forever (but you might not remember it anyways as it’s a bottomless brunch…). . For mains they also have 🐟Fish&Chips,🍔burgers (vegan option too), savoury French toast 🍞 or Roast Aubergine🍆 . Good service and friendly staff! . 📍Block SOHO 🚇Closest station: Tottenham Court Road

A great London steakhouse with an extensive whiskey and cocktail menu. Steaks are great and very well priced. Staff are very friendly.

Sometime in March 2023. We came for the soft launch, ordered a couple of starters smoked Burrata and Crayfish & Prawn cocktail, for our main we had the sharing block. Firstly all the meats were cooked perfectly - all in all the food was good and the service was excellent. Now to the sticky part, we were there for the soft launch so food was 50% off - the bill was reasonable for the three of us. At full price it would have just been too pricy "for us".

Had a few issues with the order (soggy wings having specifically asked for crispy, and gave partner the allergen we had clearly mentioned etc - so they ate 15 mins after us) but Jodie was v apologetic. It did spoil the meal a bit but these things happen. Jodie was in fact a bit of a star and told us it was raining in Welsh! Shared platter with truffle fries was v good. Its slightly better value than some places too. We'll try it again I'm sure as long as teh kitchen listens to the waiters!

I went to this restaurant yesterday and was really amazed. The staff greeted warmly the moment I stepped in. The setting was warm and friendly, with soft lighting and lovely design. The menu had a wide variety of dishes, and I was particularly impressed by the variety of mocktails and cocktails they had. I started with the cheese croquettes and chicken wings, which was properly prepared and presented with a tangy citrus sauce that suited the soft meat nicely. Main course was Succulent Steak and Sea Bass fish, cooked medium-rare and served with a creamy sauce that was simply excellent. I'd say this place is a must visit.

Had the pleasure of having lunch here this week. I used to visit when it was a previous restaurant. I have to say a big thanks to Joanne she was superb and made us feel super welcome. The steak was cooked to perfection as you can see from the photos below. We will be returning their bar is stocked with hundreds of whiskeys too 👍🏻

Came here yesterday for my boyfriend birthday and had such an amazing experience, our server jody was fantastic and so friendly, she has such amazing energy for her job. We had a 3 course meal with a cocktail that we booked via a red letter day voucher, the menu selection was really good and all the course where fantastic I could not fault anything at all for out whole experience. I can not recommend this place highly enough, I will definitely be going back again Thank you for bringing out my boyfriends desert and singing happy birthday it was a lovely touch to such a great experience

Came here during a soft launch event and ordered both rib eye steak and grilled tiger prawns. The steak was cooked perfectly and goes well with the truffle chips. The grilled prawn initially was over cooked a d felt really dry. The staff made a fresh batch for us and we had a new prawn dish tasted better. Overall it’s a nice restaurant to come but the price can be a bit expensive but this is something in Central London so you gotta ready to pay that amount of price if you check on the menu.
