After several takeout experiences, finally made it for dine-in, and I must say, nothing beats the flavors straight from the kitchen! 🔸 Braised Pork Belly The six pieces of braised pork belly melt in mouth, leaving a rich and savory sauce that's absolutely tempting. 🥟 Shanghai Soup dumplings Each dumpling is like a burst of umami, perfectly paired with vinegar. The thin-skinned buns are filled with a generous amount of soup, with a blend of crab and pork filling that’s irresistibly juicy! 🍃 Shepherd's Purse and Bamboo Shoots It's rare to find such tender bamboo shoots, which, when combined with the shepherd's purse and a perfectly blended sauce, make a must-try dish that’s off the charts! 🍜 Braised Intestine Noodles Lastly, my delightful surprise – the braised intestine noodles. The intestines are soft and gelatinous, and the broth is rich and flavorful, making for an unforgettable taste experience.

As a Shanghainese studying here in London, this is my go-to place when I need the comfort of hometown flavours. Ordered six dishes and loved every single one of them. Reasonably priced and easy to visit (2-3 minutes walk from the British museum), highly recommend it to any one who want to have a taste of Shanghainese cuisine

This restaurant is just a two to three-minute walk from the British Museum, making it perfect for a meal after a museum visit. I've tried their braised pork belly before, which is an authentic Shanghai dish. This time, I ordered a Mix Steamed Dim Sum Platter, along with a Stir-frled Shredded Pork with Pepper & Sliced Beancurd. The flavors were spot on. I'll definitely come back again.

I had dinner here last weekend. I was born in Shanghai and I can assure you this is a very authentic Shanghai family restaurant. The food there was scrumptious and full of surprise . Living in the UK for over 10 years, I was searching for proper xiao long bao ( steamed pork dim sum). And this was the best I have ever had! Really glad that this is the restaurant which can make me feel back at home.
