Food absolutely tasty, proper Italian class style. The atmosphere was incredible, beautiful decorations and perfect for a date night.
Service in general was great. However, I found not correct that they suggest a dish (a special pizza) with much higher price than the rest of the menu -double of the average- without saying it.
Incredible food & cocktails and amazing surroundings in a highly prestigious neighbourhood. Loved the atmosphere and the service. Highly recommend but keep in min that it is a bit pricy. I'm looking forward to visiting soon in order to try other dishes! I would also highly recommend this venue if you are looking for a classy date night. The only improvement I would suggest would be to have more dessert options.
P.S. I would recommend you request a table on the first floor (but the ground floor is very atmospheric as well)
Absolutely LOVED this place. Randomly found it on some list and made a reservation for a birthday dinner. From beginning to end the place did not disappoint! Service was excellent and attentive, food was traditional yet SUPERB. Every dish was better then the next. The atmosphere upstairs in the main dining was formal yet warm. LOVED and already recommended it to all!
Our experience at Sparrow Italia restaurant was absolutely fantastic! I went there with my husband to celebrate my birthday. I had never been and was surprised how good our night was.
We ordered Grilled Octopus and sparrow chop salad as a starter which was tasty, and then as mains we got cacio e Pepe and filet Mignon steak, which was properly Italian way made and delicious. At the end they brought a plate with happy birthday written with chocolate which was a cute touch.
The service was top-notch from start to finish! The overall experience was delightful, and I would highly recommend this Italian restaurant to anyone looking for an unforgettable dining experience. I can't wait to go back and try more of their amazing dishes!
The environment is very nice and the staff are very welcoming. The atmosphere was noisy a little bit, the music is not very loud and the people are talking so loud that you can hear it. The appetizers were so good but the some of the main courses were disappointing. The burrata, mozzarella, artichoke salad, carpaccio and the risotto balls were out standing. The lobster linguine pasta wasn’t cooked perfectly, the risotto was not as expected and the potatoes wedges were not tasty at all. The other main courses in the pictures were so delicious.
Beautiful spot for good Italian fare - the decor and the vibe is stunning, the setup gives a very luxe and elegant vibe for the evening (great for date nights and/or other special occasions). The food itself is good - the bone marrow ravioli is great and the burrata was really good (the rigatoni was not bad though the pasta was a bit over cooked). Service was largely good, the server had forgotten one of our pastas but brought it out immediately once flagged and was kind enough to take it off our bill, which we really appreciated. It is quite expensive, so definitely worth keeping in mind.
Absolutely amazing!. Food was fantastic. Service was friendly and very quick. Nothing was too much for the staff. Yes, it was expensive but the experience was totally worth it. Definitely would visit again
Best Italian restaurant in London, and I tried many. The service is very friendly and attentive, the restaurant is beautiful with three floors and the food is absolutely exceptional. I keep going back to have their pane al tartufo cause it’s just the best thing ever. Best lobster pasta I ever tried and desserts are also amazing. Octopus was perfectly cooked. I love this place and can’t recommend enough!
We’ve been wanting to try Sparrow for a while, and we were not disappointed. Decor and ambience of the place is great (next time, I’d want to sit downstairs in the buzzier bar-like space). The food was excellent — chicken Milanese and the Cacio e Pepe are must-haves. Service was ok but a little sporadic and inconsistent — not a slick as it perhaps should be for a place of this calibre. Will be back again in the future.
Great food experience, the service, the vibe, the taste, the decor, everything was absolutely fabulous! Jonathan's service was amazing! Definetely recommended for any occasion! Loved the tuna tartare, the Lobster linguine and the tiramissu. Finished with an espresso martini!
