A last minute lunch with a friend visiting London for the day. One of the best fixed price lunches around. The dining room is comfortable, relaxed and spacious. The staff were friendly and attentive. The portions on the fixed lunch were generous to say the least (arguably too large!). If you're in the area then this is a must visit restaurant.

We had a really lovely lunch at Mielo, the seared scallops are cooked to perfection, the courgette fitters are crispy on the outside and fluffy inside. The burrara is oozy and melt in your mouth. The Arancini are so light it made a perfect starter. We really enjoyed the prawns and scallops squid ink pasta, the seafood was perfectly cooked and the scallops cannot be fresher. Even smaller dishes like the grilled asparagus were perfectly seasoned, we finished the meal with the rice pudding flavoured with orange zest, what a lovely touch! The service is prompt, friendly and attentive. Last but certainly not least, I like the decor and ambience of Mielo, it’s stylish and full of life. Will definitely come back.

We had a really nice early dinner here on a Thursday. As a relatively large group we felt very well looked after, drinks were great, starters were lovely and mains were also very good. The restaurant had a good ambience, staff were very friendly and accommodating and we had a fantastic experience.

wonderful restaurant with deliciously prepared and beautifully presented dishes. I loved their lamb, their ceviche and the cocktails are amazing too! polite and very attentive staff, especially the young man who seated us. I definitely recommend Mielo.

We went for dinner last night to this restaurant. Some of my friends were late but the staff didn’t rush us out or pressure us into leaving after the 2hrs which was nice and refreshing compared to other restaurants. The food was spot on, I had the chicken skewer for mains and zucchini for starters, the flavour of both dishes was amazing. My whole table loved their food. The deco and ambience of the place is super lovely too. Loved the music choice as well. Overall I had a lovely time and would highly recommend.

Great service and the food was tasty, the manager was really nice and professional with us, they also had live music on Saturday at 8:30. I recommend for a cosy romantic night and the tiramisu is a must try 😋😋

Nice space and very comfortable seating ( inside and outside). Had a very nice breakfast, creamy scrambled eggs and Damon with a touch of dill which made the extra difference. Excellent coffee, perfectly steamed milk on the latte and the espresso really balanced. Will re-visit for lunch / dinner. Service was very attentive and polite as well.

Given all of the 5* reviews, I feel like somewhat of an outlier with my 4* review (which would be 3.5 if that were possible), but for me the overall experience does not warrant 5* (or 4.9/5). The service was generally very good but the atmosphere a little strange. Between 8pm and 10pm on a Tuesday night, the restaurant was, at its maximum, one quarter full. The music was initially quite loud, which, together with hard surfaces and a loud group of four nearby, made the noise quite unpleasant. Things improved to some extent, but it's not an especially relaxing room. It's also quite dark, even with the glass doors on the front side. The open kitchen was reasonably well-ventilated, but some grilling and frying smells drifted over. The food was pretty good. The grilled lamb loin with 'healthy vegetables' wasn't quite as virtuous as it appeared, as the vegatables were ungenerous and there was a significant volume of unadvertised creamy sauce. It was well cooked, though, and the meat was decent enough. The chicken has unadvertised vegetables stuffed inside and was overcooked. The chips were disappointing - pale from undercooking, and underseasoned. The ultimate mezze was quite strange, in particular the cheese selection, which amongst others included two fruity English cheeses and what appeared to be marmite cheddar. They were incongruous with the rest of the mezze. The cured meat was not very nice, nor were the dolmades. All in all, despite the fancy plating and with the exception of the dips and bread, the mezze felt like an assembly of mediocre-quality supermarket ingredients. After (politely) querying the thinking behind the cheese selection, the mezze was taken off the bill. We were also given a free dessert (which was good) and tea, because of our comically unstable table. To be fair to the staff, as soon as they noticed this, they offered to move us, which we declined. I may return to try brunch offering, but would probably not go back for dinner.

One of my favorite restaurants. Great food, good atmosphere and attentive staff. And it's not pretentious!

Came here on whim without knowing of this restaurant, and the food here blew me out of the water. the staff were friendly and quick, and the seating was pleasant as it gave us a view of the streets. First, the ultimate mezze experience. absolutely wonderful as there was several different dips, alongside with cheese and some smoked pork. the sauces were flavorful and enjoyable, plus the bread was fresh and soft. the cheese was also unique as there are different kinds other than the typical types others serve. Secondly the side dish, garlic mushrooms, amazing, honestly not much to say about it as it is a side dish, but the mushrooms were juicy and were cooked perfectly Finally, the mielo burger. The presentation of this dish was fantastic and the patty was juicy and flavorful. the other elements of the burger add up to it extremely well, and the cheese tasted fantastic, same with the vegatables. In conclusion, while this restaurant is on the costly side, every single pound is definitely worth the experience of dining here tldr: food was very good, esp the burger and the mezze experience, kind of expensive but worth your time. also staff are friendly
