CCC has today launched Sunday Roast - finally! I went to check it out with a friend and her son. We were not disappointed! The food was absolutely yummy! Perfectly cooked beef, red cabbage was something else - a bit sweet taste with a zingy finish - perfect! Veg not overcooked, nice gravy. And the portions are very generous. I’ll be definitely coming back! The boy has a cheeseburger + fries which were also great. I definitely recommend it, specially as the prices are very fair.

Nice food downstairs, rooftop garden very nice and spacious for drinks with friends. Doesn’t quite fit the fairy or garden or zoo theme in my opinion but that doesn’t matter much!

Went for a vegan sunday roast, and chef Symon has done something amazing here. Really really delicious and I'm very fussy about my roasts. Great portion sizes and excellent taste. It was more cosy on a Sunday as well. My only suggestion would be to introduce some simple sound-dampening, as the acoustics are not pleasant when the place is busier (i.e. not on a cosy Sunday evening). New management are really looking to boost the profile of the pub, which is great to see.
