Great game of Shuffleboard at The Generator Hostel, at Kings Cross. Just off Tavistock Square. Quite easy to find.
Great atmosphere, lovely game, very easy to play. I hadn't played before. You both have 4 pucks that you slide along the board, to the other side of the board and you have to stay on the board or knock your opponents pucks off the board. You can score 1-4 depending what range you land in. You get an extra point for knocking your opponent off the board, first to score 15 wins.
The pizzas are incredible so tasty and great for sharing.
Great staff, Yen was so friendly and helpful and explained all the rules and brought our pizza over to us. She showed us the ropes and really made us feel welcome.
Great game well worth a visit, would definitely visit again.
Caveat emptor: my friend and I visited and paid using the promotion vouchers that were heavily discounted compared to full price. 12/10 would go again at that promo price, at full amount it's probably still a solid 8.
First time playing shuffleboard, so the staff kindly showed us the ropes and left us to our own pucks (there's a helpful poster reminding of the rules in the corner of the room). After an hour of exciting competition pizza and beer were exactly what the doctor prescribed. Maybe the music was a tiny bit too loud if you're into chatting (but that's probably the case for me in all drinking places, so I guess it's indeed "the problem is you" situation :D), but the time still flew by. Great place for a date too I think if you're into mild competition followed by some grub and drinks.
I took my nephews and niece for a day out, we had such a fantastic time!! Firstly, thanks to Katrine who made our experience amazing, so friendly and welcoming. She explained to us how to play Shuffleboard as was our first time. We had a great time playing! The kids loved it and can’t wait to go back.
We then had lunch there after, and again was amazing! The pizza’s were delicious, chips portions were very generous and crispy chicken wings were also perfect! Can’t recommend enough. Definitely will be going back!
Really cool venue tucked out the way. Prices for shuffleboard were good and drinks were relatively cheap. The only minor downside was the table we were on definitely bowed down the centre as even if you pushed the puck down one side it would just slide to the centre line. It was still good fun!
We came to Shuffleboard Bar for our daughters 15th birthday and had a brilliant time. We had the Shuffleboard games room to ourselves which was nice. We ordered 3 different pizzas and they were all absolutely delicious. It had a great vibe with lots of other games to play in different areas of the building. Katrina really looked after us and made us feel really welcome. Shuffleboard Bar is a real hidden gem, we loved it.
Hired a couple of tables for 2 hours for a work social, very enjoyable (and competitive!). The service was great behind the bar, and food was really nice too, great for sharing. Very reasonably priced for central London too. I’d definitely recommend to others looking for something different to do in London.

I went to the Shuffleboard bar for a work outing and it was great fun. The vibe is very relaxed as it located in a Generator Hostel. It's a bit tucked away down a side road but becomes very clear when you find it. The food is good value for money and they had a good selection of cocktails, beer and wine as well as non-alcoholic drinks. The staff were friendly and helpful, they explained the rules checked in to see if we needed anything. Overall, I'd absolutely recommend for a relaxed and fun activity/ bar.

I’d never herd of shuffleboard before being invited to this event. Really enjoyed the group activity. The food was really delicious and plentiful; we really should have shared! Only negatives were the slow service at the bar - our fault I guess from ordering so many cocktails and I imagine it was a genuine pizza oven they were using so the food came out one at a time after the initial platters. It was scrummy! It really was. Recommend the bar for future events/ team building/ fun times. 👍
