My son and me are big Pink Floyd fans. We obviously are very interested in the former power station. We went on a 70 minute guided tour of the building. Such tours are very few and far between. For those interested I highly recommended a tour because you are allowed a rare short visit to beautifully restored Art Deco style turbine control room 'A'.

There is a tube station, called Battersea power station that brings you right outside Battersea. This is on the NORTHERN LINE. It's the end of the line so you cannot miss the stop. Inside you will find bars, restaurants and shops. If you're hungry, eat before you go. The queues for the restaurants on the top floor were ridiculous. I've never seen anything like it and have seen shorter queues for a Ryanair flight..... Plenty of shops, some averagely priced, some expensive. You can go up one of the towers inside for a nice view. It's called LIFT 109. Book this in advance online. The whole area is nice, outside the architecture is beautiful and obviously its right next to the water. Children's play area outside. Do note as this is a fairly new place, Battersea Power Station gets ridiculously busy, especially at the weekends. !!!

Wow. Place is absolutely amazing. Also had no idea how huge it was! There are plenty of nice shops to look around including watch shops, cafes and coffee shops to refresh and matvel at the architecture of the old power station. You can even go up all the way inside one of the tall chimney stacks. Which is a 109m tall by the way.

Very interesting to see how this building has been altered into a usable space after having been empty for so long. It's been open a year so there are still some empty units. There are plenty of shops but they are predominantly "high end". You can find somewhere to eat but choices are limited, in my opinion. Sadly, the lifts weren't working when we went so we were unable to do the attraction Lift 109. It's easy to get to by tube on the Northern Line or by bus. Might visit in a few years time to experience the area once the development has been fully completed.

What an amazing transformation it is awe inspiring to see the result of all the work done in the conversion. Thankfully that this great building has been preserved. getting there was easy and once inside the cavernous building there is plenty ty to see shops galore and places to eat and drink. We booked ahead for the lift 109, which is a fab experience and very well run. all in all highly recommended

Since it's inauguration, BPS has become one of my favorite spot in London. I love to bring visiting friends, and they usually love it. So many shops, restaurants and the architecture are amazing. Love how the place is kept buzzing with temporary happenings: Light festival, ice rink, outdoor furniture, etc

I went there on a group tour of the architectural/engineering aspects of the building, not to go to the shopping emporium within! However we had to go through the shopping areas to reach parts of interest to us and I have to say it would be an impressive shopping experience for anyone it has been a splendid re-use of an iconic building that might have otherwise been demolished and much of the original features still remain in place. Well worth a visit.

Amazing redevelopment, beautiful architecture, lovely shops, restaurants and bars. Lots of security makes you feel super safe. Amazing apartment buildings and just a lovely place. Doesn't feel like you're in Central London, more like a high class 5 star riverfront resort. Stay in the 4 star Art 'Otel with pool/jacuzzi 16 floors up on the roof and rooftop bar too. Battersea Power station redevelopment is absolutely stunning!

Outstanding architecture both vintage and contemporary. A feast for the eyes, both inside and out. Plenty of high end shopping and eateries. Look carefully at the detailing the designers both old and new have incorporated in the original and new parts of the building. Steeped in history, which is available to discover throughout the building.

I've wanted to visit this shopping centre for a while and was not disappointed. It's divided into two halls, A and B, with levels in each, and an atypical and interesting range of shops, providing a different kind of experience to the usual high street /shopping centre. What was particularly great (for a geek like me) was a lot of the original power station equipment was incorporated into the design and on display. It has been rebuilt sympathetically to the original design, with industrial art deco features. There's a lift to the top of one of the rebuilt towers with views of London at the top, and a great cocktail bar called Control Room B that has control panels on display at the back, making it a unique experience. There's also a cinema. The Arcade is a place to eat, offering a variety of different foods which you can order on your phone and have it brought to your table. For example my daughter had suchi and I had an Indian. There are also separate restaurants. The service at both Control Room B and the Arcade was friendly and efficient. Outside there's a large area overlooking the river, with lawns and deckchairs, and a large outdoor screen where people were watching cricket. On the ground floor there's a small exhibition of the history of the power station from when it closed in the early 1980's, through all the ideas proposed for the site, up to what it has become today. I would recommend anyone to visit, there's something for everyone here!
