One thing I really like about this place is variety of beer. You can have IPA, stout, sour in cask & keg. Service is always great and staff is very friendly. Lovely location in busy area of Paddington. Atmosphere is not bad with like 70s interior. Indoor and outdoor seating. Busy after after office time. Recommend

My friend and I ducked in here during a rain storm not sure what to expect. The girls at the bar were very helpful in helping us choose a beer and letting us taste ones we were interested. It was laid back and relaxing the entire time, the perfect addition to our way to dinner! The beer was excellent as well.

Staffs are very lovely and helpful.
Went with a big pram and a baby. No baby changing room but staffs were very accommodating. Will go back again!

The Bear is amazing and delightful! Stopped here for a nightcap (didn’t try the food, but when it went by looked delicious). It’s convenient when staying near Paddington and the Sicilian Gin & Tonic was refreshing and fantastic. The music playlist gives it a great, laid back vibe without being too loud.

Fantastic pub. Extensive interesting beers on tap. No big food menu, but does the job. Great place to trade stories of the day and get on with friendly people. Would 100% recommend and stopped in twice while staying in my last trip to paddington.

Fantastic and new style modern pub located in Paddington.
Came on a Sunday afternoon for some drinks. Their menu selection is out of this world with many many options of beers, wines, spirits, and cocktails on offer. I will say on the expensive side but definitely a great place to visit.
Especially enjoyed the Real Ale Co Cider. Was very light and refreshing.
The decor inside is really nice and unique. Clean bathrooms too.

Popped in for drinks before boarding a train home to Bristol. Pub is very welcoming and spotlessly clean inside and outside. Would definitely recommend this lovely pub and next time we are in London we will be trying some food as well.

Has to be a 5 star pub.
Unlike a lot of highly rated pubs in London, this is a proper pub for a decent drink (not just another Fuller'sor Greene King or "foodie" pub with more wines than beer!).
Really nice interior, great staff, amazing draft beer selection including some good Belgian beers, and loads more beers, spirits etc. too (also a very above average whisky offering).
Highly recommended and tucked away right near Paddington too. Oh, and did I mention that it's independently owned?
