Best bakery in London. Definitely top tier! We came down on a Saturday midday and it was busy! But the queue and your food comes out very quickly! You just queue up, place your order and wait for your name to get called. We had the mackerel and nduja sarnie - which was so delicious, but the best thing we had was the Honey, Feta and Fennel pastry - all the flavours worked so well together and the texture of the pastry was PERFECT. Not too crispy and not too doughy. I want to come back for their Pizza nights!!
What a focaccia 🤤🤤 it's incredibly delicious!! I truly recommend it!
The cinnamon bun is incredible as well.
The service is lovely. That was one of my favourite parts.
Super bakery, and a lovely spot for some lunch; both their pastry work and bread baking are some of the best in the city.
The focaccia sandwiches are an obvious highlight, bringing a lightness to what might be a oily mess in less accomplished hands. The bread is super airy and bouncy and and they do a great job of balancing flavours, particularly with the seasonal herb packed veggie options
I was surprised the pastry was just as good. Again it was light, airy and not greasy but still full of flavour
Coffee was good, staff super friendly and seemed to be having a nice time of things, and it’s a cool spot just tucked away off the bedlam of Kingsland Road
Loved the sandwich! Had the soy tofu fritter sandwich. Each mouthful was different. Definitely the kind of sandwich to sit and eat.
Dog friendly. And sat outside which was covered so it didn’t matter that it was raining. Still busy on a Friday at midday but service was very quick.
I also got a Fruit Custard pastry which looked the part but I sadly didn’t rate. The custard was far too thin, and the fruit needed sieving. Plus more of it. A tart and bland mouthful. It was the only thing that let it down.
Thoroughly enjoyed breakfast at The Dusty Knuckle today. Lots of people queuing even though we went relatively early. I say it's worth it and also the turnover is relatively quick. So all good.
Great selection of bakery to choose from. You'll have sweet, savoury, vegetarian and dessert options available to choose from. Great choice of drinks as well.
Definitely worth a visit.
Where does one start with this divine bakery? How does one do justice to the sheer artistry and culinary prowess of these passionate and well informed bakers? My review won’t impart much compared with the experience of eating here.
The SARNIE is the best sandwich I have eaten and probably shall ever eat. I am still dreaming of the soft fresh warm olive oil focaccia bread. The Harris’s beetroot, shallots, almond, salsa verde dressing filling was gloriously tasty! I am not being melodramatic. The whole experience honestly felt like a formative one.
The feta honey and fennel seed pastry is a must try too! The flavours complement each other so well.
The chocolate salted cookie was delightful too, not saccharine like cookies often are.
What geniuses are at play here. Please continue gracing the world.
Pretty cool place. Fits the gentrified vibe of Dalston. Love the ethos too! Can be a bit pricey ie ÂŁ4 for a loaf of sourdough
Ended up being a 8 mile round trip on my bike but it was Sooo worth it i had worked worked up an appetite, and couldn't resist getting a little pastry(orange and poppy) while I was there, also got a baguette and tin loaf and wasn't disappointed, I put last nights roast chicken in it for lunch.
Highly recommended

Fantastic space, great vibes, outdoor seating, get there early as they do tend to sell out! Everything on the menu is absolutely delicious. Sandwiches are a must, and the pastries are incredibly delicious as well!
Nice place, real bakery with super fresh pastries. A lot of space outside, really recommended especially if you have a dog đź‘Ťđź‘Ť
