Fifth Element

I was having a stroll through this part of London, just prior to Christmas, when I came across this delightful coffee shop, just a couple of minutes away from Waterloo station. I popped in for a hot chocolate, and treated myself to a Crêpe, which was made with fresh batter while I was chatting to the owner, Spiros, and although I went with a simple butter and sugar topping, was divine. I will definitely be popping back in, when visiting London again, to sample some more of what looked like a fab menu :) 20/09/2023 update Visiting London again, I took my wife down to Fifth Element, having such a fab time previously. We went for lunch and the food and service was amazing. We had the bruschetta and halloumi to start. Both starters were done perfectly. The bruschetta was crisp on the outside and soft on the inside, without being crunchy all over, which some places do and make it hard to eat. The halloumi was coloured perfectly for a lovely taste with the mayo accompanying. Our Fifth Element burger (amazing by the way) and Ragu we superb too and we both had a lovely chat with the owners. We visit London regularly, so this is now a must on our trips and we look forward to trying an evening meal next time we are there. My only downside was that I wish I took some more pictures as the presentation was lovely but once we took a bite of everything, we couldn't stop eating. During our second visit to the Fifth Element the exceptional food once again left us impressed. The flavors were outstanding, just as we remembered from our previous experience. The restaurant truly upholds its reputation for serving fantastic dishes. Moreover, the great service and incredible interior decor added to the overall enjoyment of our dining experience.

Wow, what a find by my daughter. A one night stay in London at Travelodge Waterloo, and she found this on Maps 140m from the hotel. Small restaurant, and they were almost full, but they brought in a couple of outside tables to seat us inside. Vlad was extremely helpful and friendly. Fifth Element cocktails were ordered (tequila, lime & grapefruit). Happy hour gets you two of the same cocktail for the price of £15. We had another round with dessert. They were that good! The food was excellent, and it took a little while to be served, so we knew it was fresh. Well worth the small wait👌 Burgers and salads were of the highest quality. Baklava and tiramisu were enjoyed by all. The tiramisu was light and only subtlety coffee-flavoured, so a large slice was easy to eat. The good atmosphere and the high quality of the food and service meant that this was a meal that we won't forget👌

The food was absolutely amazing, and very fresh as well! It took time to prepare but it was worth it. We had the special house cocktail and it was delicious, the combination of thyme and tequila was surprisingly good. The staff was friendly and checked on us many times, and we've enjoyed every second of our meal. :) 5*

Gorgeous cocktails, delicious dishes, and fantastic, friendly staff. Our new go-to place for dinner and drinks in central London. My friend and I needed a girls night out, and tried this lovely little place. Staff were super friendly. Both the food and drinks were great. Loved the flavour profiles of the drinks, the staff really know how to make a great martini. Both of us are in 100% agreement, this place is our new go-to place for a girls night out. Recommend all the fantastic drinks - pina coladas, mojitos, sex on the beach, martinis. We would have stayed if it wasn’t for the need to catch our trains to go home to our families.
