Had afternoon lunch with a friend after a bike ride from Derby. Friendly service, cuppa was on point and the sandwiches were delicious. Will visit again next time I'm over this way

I had lunch with 3 other people on a Monday lunch time (1ish). The food was really tasty, I had garlic mushrooms on toast. Velvety, creamy garlic sauce on mushrooms with crisp, seeded toast and a tangy balsamic glaze on spinach leaves. I had an apple juice too which was cloudy and sweet. The music was good, the place wasn't busy and the service was friendly. My only gripe is it was a little slow, but with two people working, I'm more than willing to accept a little delay, plus the food was great when it arrived and I wasn't in any rush. I'd happily go back and recommend it to anyone, though I'm not sure if they have high-chairs for children.

Nipped in today to have a look at the place and to see what they had on offer. They sell lots of nice treats - pasta by the kilogram, jams, loose tea, etc. and I bought some lovely cheese from the counter. Very friendly, will be nipping in with my wife soon for some food I think!

Visited a few weeks ago for coffee, ended up leaving with some delicious home baked bread. Enjoyed it so much we visited again for brunch, enjoyed standard breakfasts and extra French Toast. All very tasty and freshly prepared. Great atmosphere and welcoming staff (particularly the friendly dog!) Recommend and will be back.

Lovely friendly staff. Food was lush. Could of done with serveittes. Salt and pepper pots not to hygienic as you have to pick it out. Needs hand towel in toilets. Being nitpicky... but place is lovely and cosy. Would visit again...

Visited here last Friday to celebrate my daughter's birthday. It was amazing 😊 The food was fabulous as were all the staff (including the gorgeous dog). We all felt very welcome and loved every minute. Thank you!
