Great food and service. Excellent prices considering park location. Sells bluebells ice cream and has a wide range of choice. The cafe allows both indoor and outdoor seating where you can watch the children play on the park area. If the weather is good amazing location next to the splash pad. Well worth the visit.

What a shame! It's great to have a cafe on the park but they really don't care about the quality of the food and drinks they serve. The filter coffee tastes like flavoured hot water and they don't seem to mind serving stale teacakes either. If this cafe we're anywhere else it wouldn't survive.

Nice little cafe next to kids play ground. Toilet block and changing rooms. Coffee not bad either.

Bring a picnic and all you need is the sun, there's a swimming baths at the entrance, a good park for all ages, skate park and outdoor waterpark, really cheap day out and if your going to let the weather spoil it for you because you cannot wait to get skin cancer, piss of to Spain.

Friendly staff and reasonably priced ice cream. Some of the ice lollies at Markeaton park are twice the price! Think we are lucky to have a cafe at our local park.

Lovely staff, they were just closing up for the day when we came up to get our kids some ice cream, but one of the staff members ( his name was Chris if my memory serves me right, he was VERY polite) unlocked the door and allowed us to get some.

Great place, highly recommended! Very reasonable prices when considering the location and convenience. We had the sandwiches which were fantastic and the ice cream is one of the best around.

Love west Park massive place room for joggers cycling, park for the kid's, ideal for dog walking there's only one thing wrong is the cafe does not open in autumn or winter.
