Had a 3 course meal here on 22/7/23 and we couldn't fault the food, absolutely delicious! Only given 4 stars as we had to ask 2 members of staff where our desserts were before we got them yet the starter and mains were quick. Would go again though
The staff were brilliant in difficult circumstances, they were very short staffed but everyone was served in turn with a smile....well done all of you.
A couple of disgruntled customers still got the smile but they really should have congratulated the staff instead of moaning!!!
Senior menu is a real bargain with good quality food across 3 courses. Service can be a bit slow at busy times.

Great place to get your Sunday lunch, both dog and child friendly. Staff are welcoming and friendly. Large selection of food and drinks. They even had Nethergate Stour Valley Gold on tap. Get there early for the Sunday roast as they soon sell out of lamb and chicken. Highly recommended 👍
Had lunch there today with a friend and waitress was friendly and gave us a choice of seating in restaurant area or seating just away from bar. Food was fantastic, really enjoyable. Busy but good service.

I went for lunch and had a toasted sandwich with salad, it was delicious ! they were really busy but let us know there would be a wait, the food still arrived in good time. I will definitely recommend this pub.
