We were here celebrating a friends 40th birthday. The food was good, the room was lovely but the staff made it so much better! It felt like a home from home, would happily visit again!
we stopped there for a weekend break. the whole experience from check in to check out was excellent.
the room was clean and adequate, the food and service was quick and well presented, the price was reasonable and the staff couldn't do enough to make our stay a pleasure.

OK for the money, small room and quite noisy from bar music. Nice old building and good breakfast. Easy car parking and easy to find
Ample parking space all nearby. First time visiting and the service and staff were all professional and friendly. We had the Sunday carvery and it was exceptional. Would recommend 👌
Plenty of choice on menu although a few bits when ordered were not available....visited as local to us and after being let down at two other eateries, this was our third try to get a meal. Would book afaindýýýý

My partner and I stayed at the hotel last week for two nights, when we checked out on the Saturday, I stupidly left behind my prescription sungla
Haven't been in many years and went for a wake. The catering was excellent and seemed everyone was catered for. Bar service was good. Smoking area out the front and back and the sun was out so that added to ambience.
Good job G&D done with decorum.
Stopped in for some lunch and watch football on TV.
Friendly staff and atmosphere. Plenty of seating spread throughout and also plenty of tables in the sun out front.

This ancient historic inn is located in the center of Long Melford. The hotel room is good, but early in the morning it is very noisy when the traffic starts, as the hotel is located along the main street of the city. The hotel has a restaurant and the room price includes breakfast
We stayed as a group overnight in the George and Dragon on New Year's Eve and had a wonderful night.
