Very friendly atmosphere. Waitresses very helpful. Couldn’t do enough for us. Carvery was not how I usually like it, and I’m not sure what to compare it with. However, it was satisfactory. Carver should be wearing a hair net.
Very clean, the food is lovely too, whether you have the carvery or the menus. The staff are friendly & they always come round the tables to see if there's anything else you would like,
drinks or a sweet. Prices very reasonable .

Good food at excellent prices. Value for money Staff very friendly and service excellent even when fully booked. Chefs and behind the scene staff always busy ( you can see through the hatch .) We visit regularly with family friends and work colleagues so overall we are happy satisfied customers and the food is yummy.
I am shocked to note any criticism of Monroes. I only discovered it in Spring this year after recommendation from friends. I have been back about 8 times since. The staff are friendly and helpful, the surroundings are pleasant and the food is excellent and the prices incredibly low ie. exceptional value. I have recommended to others, all who have had the same positive experience. Due back next week, can't wait!

A small but popular Carvery named after the former actress, whose pictures adorn the walls. In earlier years it was known as the Longfield Carvery. Seating is a little cramped but the service and food are both good. Charges are competitive, with reduced prices on Monday evenings. There is no dedicated parking and at busy times this can present a slight problem, as on-road parking can sometimes be a few minutes walk away. But hey - you'll need the exercise afterwards! The menu extends beyond a Carvery (which is usually a choice of turkey, pork and beef) to include a small number of set alternatives. Good food and good value.
Through 16 years of visits, the only problem has been booking a table, but they have always been very accommodating. And the food has always been great along with friendly and helpful staff, thank you very much.
Really lovely food.understand we had an hour half to eat and go as our table was booked after.our other 2 guests were running late so we had our starters withought them as the owner,I presume, was getting concerned and advised us to order as she had another party after us.i did feel I was clock watching and didn't feel very welcome to be honest.
Monroes has been a favourite for us for many years, food brilliant, good prices and always great staff who always make you feel so warmly welcome. Thoroughly recommend Monroes Carvery in Longfield.
The Sunday roast was fanatic you could not fault it. The staff are very friendly and help full. We book a week in advance but you could just turn up on the day.
