My first visit to 'The Old Sail Loft' and it definitely will not be my last. The food was absolutely stunning!!!! I mean STUNNING!!!!! Some of the best I've had. The staff were lovely. I've recently suffered with some very poor health and have mobility problems, so they relocated our table for us so I didn't have to climb the stairs. They were thoughtful and courteous. The service was great! It was so amazing I'll be returning with my husband as I want him to try your amazing food. Thank you so much for a wonderful evening x

We visited The Old Sail Loft Restaurant during our weekend in Looe. It’s based in a very quaint old building, and had a lovely outside terrace area too. Unfortunately, it was raining during our visit so we couldn’t enjoy the outdoor area. We took advantage of their 2 course set menu which was very good value for £22 (at time of writing). The Duck Parfait was sublime and the Hake Kiev was also very tasty, albeit a little on the small side. Service was friendly too. If you’re looking for a delicious meal in a lovely surrounds, then The Old Sail Loft Restaurant will certainly tick all the boxes in Looe.

Really delicious food! Beautiful building, only complaint Is that each course took a while to come out, we were there almost 2 hours and we waited almost 40 minutes for the dessert and half a hour each from the starter and then 30 mins for the main, again the service from the staff was brilliant and food was delicious and I'd 1000% return for the quality of the food

Beautiful food in a gorgeous building. Only let down for us was not the restaurant’s fault. A lady asked for the music to be turned down, which is was, and then asked for it to be turned off. This then meant that every chew, every steak knife hitting a plate and every other conversation could be heard. That particular table then proceeded to sit in silence. Such a shame as it really let the atmosphere down. Food is out of this world and would highly recommend to anyone.

Excellent dinner, lovely staff and the food was superb. My only gripe was that the portions were so generous I could not manage a desert

Super meal the other night. Seafood platter was excellent, very fresh salad and lots of fish, crab and shellfish to choose from with freshly baked bread. Steak was probably the best I’ve ever had with the ox cheek and onion ring accompaniment a real treat. Service was excellent. This has been our third year of eating at this fantastic restaurant.

Dropped by on a couple of occasions over the last few days whilst wandering the streets of Looe Lovely staff and a decent outdoor beer garden overlooking the quayside! We didn't eat but the food did look pretty good!

We had an incredible 3 course lunch here; the food was delightful. I had the set lunch menu and it was all delicious, the highlight was definitely the deep fried apple and rhubarb crumble for dessert. The staff were attentive and couldn't do enough for us. Location was perfect too, we sat outside overlooking the harbour and it was just a fantastic first experience of Looe. We'll definitely return.

Great place, amazing food and wonderful atmosphere. Pictured is the lamb from the set menu. It looks like a small portion but is actually solid meat. Really good. Remember to add some sides for veg etc. Others in the party had the hake kiev and loved it too. 4* for service as towards the end of the meal there was nobody to see if we needed anything or ask for a bill. Could just have been a glitch as rest of evening was fine.

Lovely restaurant on the edge of the harbour providing a fantastic dining experience. We had a great evening of Lamb shoulder for main followed by apple and rhubarb crumble. Both tasted wonderful. Staff were great attentive and helpful

This is a classy restaurant with a great a la carte menu and good service. We enjoyed the Surf & Turf, which at £45.00 each obviously wasn't cheap, but the steaks were good and the king prawns were massive, as were the triple-cooked chips. There's also a set meal option - It's not obvious, but it's on the back page of the menu if you want it.

Absolutely delicious and the set menu is great value. Was surprised the moules came without their shells but this new take on the dish worked incredibly well. The trout starter very tasty and the hake kiev also a big hit. Would definitely come back next time in Looe.

Yet again a fantastic experience, friendly, knowledgeable staff, great service. This type of dining experience is a rarity these days, and even more rare to find it done so impeccably. Presentation was great but the taste was even better, well done and thank you.

Great location on the quayside at Looe, a very pretty fishing town on Cornwall’s south coast. To be fair, we arrived without a booking and so were given a table without view in the downstairs area. The menu was focussed, not surprisingly on fish and shellfish. But the fish and chip offering was severely over-battered, and the fish itself grey and unappealing. We found the restaurant over-priced and extremely “up itself” and will not return. The place has huge potential if the pomposity is addressed and better value offered.

This is one of the nicest places I've been to. Great seafood, service and ambiance. My visit to Looe was one of the best weekends of my life and this just added to it!
