Friendly staff, lovely view, my favourite place for coffee or glass of wine x
Lovely overlooking the quay, weather was horrible so popped in for a pot of tea with my husband, enough for 2cups each at a really reasonable price. Service was great nice friendly staff.
We have been coming down to Looe for many years & always pop into The Old Boat House when on holiday down here. It is by far our favourite cafe in Looe & has been for many years (we have been to every cafe in Looe).
They have a great selection of meals in their fantastic menu, it’s always great food. They also have an excellent cake selection as well & the added option of their own ice cream for dessert as well, which is delicious (we sampled a few flavours earlier in the week).
What we also love about The Old Boat House is their location, being located at the harbour side in East Looe with the added advantage of an alcohol licence we can literally sit back, take in the views whilst enjoying a glass of wine together taking in the views, we love it, nowhere compares.
Today, after many years of visiting the cafe on holiday we actually met the owners, what a lovely family. It is a real family affair, parents & their daughters, all so friendly & hard working, customer service always on point.
If you haven’t been to Looe yet? What are you waiting for? and make sure you pop into The Old Boathouse because you will not be disappointed.
5 stars from us as always!

Really nice cafe in great location. Good cake and drinks. Comfy sofa in window. Thank you.
Have been here before. Very friendly cosy coffee shop. Nice and warm inside on a chilly day. I can HIGHLY recommend their cream tea (I had 2 fruit scones) with tea. There is a nice choice on the menu.
A lovely cafe, nice food and a lovely view
the outside seating is particularly nice
We had a afternoon tea nice selection of sandwiches and cakes
Excellent - what a lovely little restaurant and what stunning views - all the staff were friendly and knowledgeable - all on one level with outside eating area - a single toilet that was spotless - well worth a visit and I can thoroughly recommend the cornish pasties - please be careful of the herring gulls ***** well recommended
Stopped for a coffee and cake on a rainy Saturday. Staff were so welcoming and polite. Everything was kept clean and the service was very efficient.
Came in out of the rain. Lovely little cafe, great coffee tea and food. Perfect location. Had a lemon muffin and a cuppa.
,Coffees were nice, barista knew what they were doing, milkshake satisfyingly creamy using whole milk and ice-cream.
We came here for a quick grab and had lunch, had to order inside and sat outside with the view for the meal. Great staff, I would recommend to stop by when you can.
Very nice and good value for money coffee ☕
