The most delicious milkshakes (made with proper ice cream)!
I ordered a fresh mushroom soup and it came with huge, cheesy croutons and parsley on top. It was the best soup of ever had; the perfect food to warm you up after a chilly morning on the beach in October!
Love the winter panini. Can't wait for them to be back.😁
This time, we just had the filled rolls with coffee. Cakes to take home 😋
Great service. Super friendly staff.
Our favourite spot. Everything you need in one tiny little kiosk.
Heaven.
This is a great little place for basic food. The biggest plus is it is open everyday except Christmas. You can dine in but it is more of a dine out as it is more of a bunch of picnic tables.
I had the spicy meatballs. To be honest, they tasted like they were straight out of a Tesco 2 stripe tin....but I imagine buying an ice-cream on a sunny day here would be pleasant.
Perfect spot for a very reasonably priced meal. We arrived at 7.30pm, lovely interesting choice of food, decent sized portions and well presented. Top marks Only downside is we’ve only just realised you are open until 8pm…..!!!
Nicely little cafe with a great selection of food for young and old. The children lunch bag is great value! The view not bad aswell!
An amazing little place overlooking Looe Island. Considering its size, it has a fantastic selection of grub! The team there is very friendly, and people actually speak with you, especially if you're a dog owner. Close to the SW Coastal Path. Probably busy in the summer. Road parking very nearby, but again, likely to be chocker in the summer. Wrap up warm if it's a cold day, though. But well worth a visit. We'll be back!
Lovely little coffee shop with awesome views of St George’s island. We ordered a coffee and soy hot chocolate which were great. We also ordered bacon rolls which went down nicely. There’s plenty of seats available and parking was easy the day we went in December, but I imagine it gets busy in the summer. It’s also dog friendly serving dog ice cream and other treats.
I've been here many times, and I am always impressed with the food offering, drinks and naturally an Ice-cream or two. Friendly service, quick and the selection always impresses from such a small place.
Bonus points for it being open all year round, which is great when I go on a wander from the house and suddenly fancy a bite to eat.
Would strongly recommend, though be prepared for Cornish weather as this is an outdoor venue and I've been caught in the rain a few times! :D
We were on holiday in Looe for 5 days. The locals share information.
We were told about a walk from Looe past the Nelson seal lion which is by the sea. Up the road to a place called Hannafore.
Here we came across a cafe with an outside table and chairs.
This was a week of 5.9.23 when the temperature was 30 degrees.
We sat out and had an ice-cold drink and delicious ginger ice cream.
Not many sell ginger ice cream.
The staff were lovely. They looked like Saturday job school girls and mature owners.
All staff were obliging. Quick service.
Order and pay at one counter, collect
Collect around the corner.
I'm very pleased we found this place.
Very quiet place to relax away from the Looe crowd.
There is a walkway with a seat looking over the sea.
It was that good that we went up there the next day. We caught the Looe heritage little carriage pulled by Landrover..w got off at Hannafore and had our ginger ice cream.
Spent time enjoying sitting up there, we caught the little train 40 minutes later that stopped by the cafe and hopped on and hopped off.
It was a joy to be up there.
Highly recommended to all.
Thank you to all the staff.
Excellent organization in glorious weather.
We are from Wales and will return to the area in time. All locals and holidaymakers were chatting and enjoying their refreshments.
The best coffee and butter scones in Looe so say my 2 80+ year old friends.
