Really really good food. I had the vegetarian sausage and mash and it was the best veggie meal I’ve ever eaten out! My boyfriend had the steak and said it was amazing. Even our dog tried the steak and also agreed. Dog friendly, lovely pub with outdoor seating too. Loved!
We past by and saw the pub and glad we stopped for lunch.
Service we absolutely brilliant. The barmen was so welcoming, professional, polite and very engaging with my 4yr old.
Food was very good, piping hot, tasty and reasonably priced. garlic bread a little let down but rest of the food very good!!!

We only went in for some lunch as a family with friends. The Sunday lunch was awesome. The staff were all friendly and service was excellent.
We had one criticism which was the gravy tasted burnt so we had to send our meals back but a new batch of gravy later and WOW an unbeatable meal. Roasties and the cauliflower cheese were amazing. An excellent meal. We will definitely be back.

Liam the guy behind the bar tonight was great very friendly and show us to our sits the pub was empty when arrived but people started to come in whilst there.

We called in today on an off chance and we were all VERY impressed! The sharing platters were wonderful and very tasty, the pudding were delicious. Each member of staff was very attentive and lovely to talk to. Such a lovely experience and we will be back so thank you 😊
Fab pub, lovely staff, always polite and friendly, the food is delicious, we are so glad to call this "our local", perfect sun terrace aswell! Landlady and staff are a credit to the brewery!
I took my parents here for father's day, the food was amazing, my parents would like to say a massive thank you to the staff especially Ben our waiter who went above and beyond to ensure everything was ok for them, well done to all involved

Good food and friendly locals. Beer was reasonably priced and the food was very Tasty.
This venue has recently been reopened after an extensive refurbishment.
The pub has always served good beer, but aside from that, the premise was run down always cold and the facilities very dated.
The refurbishment is amazing, as soon as we walked through the door it looks inviting and was warm!!!
The bar lady was superb, very knowledgeable and helpful. The beer is still very very well kept.
The food menu is also very very good, not over extensive but a lot more than basic.
The meals we chose, as a family of four, were all served at the same time and were hot, fresh and delicious. We also enjoyed a dessert which was all equally as delicious.
This pub 150% deserves to be given an opportunity to impress. Please try and dismiss the house from any previous experience, it really does deserve it. To coin an old phrase, use it or lose it!!
