Indian Ocean

To be fair, I didn't expect much of this place to begin with, considering the few 1-star reviews. My experience of Indian Ocean was, however, really good! I went to the restaurant as a part of a group of 8 people. All of our food was well-prepared, distinctive, and *really* reasonably priced. I had an okra veg mix starter, a tikka dhansak, and a garlic and coriander naan. The whole meal came to about 15 pounds. Every dish was flavorful (somebody on here was complaining about the food being interchangeable and bland etc -- I had the opposite experience). The whole restaurant was run by 2 people (one front of house and one cook). They were both really friendly. Our group didn't get a printed receipt, but we were all able to pay by cash or card. In short, it's a small place that will fill your boots. Don't let the 3.9 star rating fool you! You'll probably have a good time (if you're not a fusspot).
