The Last Post

The place is clean, tidy, spacious, traditional looking, vibrant, comfortable, colourful and safe. The staff are friendly, welcoming, sociable, understanding, respectful, attentive,responsive, well mannered, well organised and punctual. The food is delicious, mouthwatering, tasty, full of flavour, fresh and classic food. The food and drink cost £4.49 which is good but can be better. You should come here because they have good food and drink selection which you will not regret but if you don’t come here then you will regret it. I tried scrambled eggs on toast and Pepsi and it was light and classic breakfast.

Just wandered in after a lovely big walk in Epping forest with a good old friend, and I have to say, what a fantastic weatherspoons! Ordered a small freshly battered cod and chips with mushy peas and a leffe blonde to wash it down (lunchtime deals of course! £6.99?! Can’t say fairer than that!) Can confidently say it was the best weatherspoons food I’ve ever had, fish was perfectly cooked, fantastically crispy batter whilst maintaining a juicy succulent cod piece in the middle, and might I say generous portions for a small plate! Perfectly poured crisp pint to top it all off, what more could you ask for? The last post? It’s my FIRST choice in Loughton let me tell you that much :)

Great value. Anazing bar staff. Sadly, it was spoilt by one very loud customer, who is very angry and always shouting. And swearing. Goes by the sudo of Tone the moan. Sadly, He pretty much lives in the pub, being there 7 days a week. Great selection of beers, good atmosphere with the exception already mentioned.
