Really nice tiny gem- not many tables available so I would recommend booking in advance. Food quality was very good - we tried several tapas dishes between 4 of us, and all were really nice and fresh. My absolute favourite were crab croquettes.

Very small place so you have to book well in advance. The food is delicious. Would highly recommend booking. Tasty, lovely atmosphere and very affordable! We will return later in the year.

The food is delicious and so varied. I have many allergies and thanks to everything being cooked from scratch I've never had an allergic reaction. Also due to the conscientious staff who are so knowledgeable and friendly. I love the Spanish ambience and cannot recommend Bar Castillejar highly enough.

We've been trying to get in here for a loooooong time! Always a good sign when you have to book so far in advance, and we were not disappointed. Fabulous Tapas, with friendly service, knowledgeable staff and great atmosphere. So glad we've tried this little gem in the heart of Lovely Louth. We will definitely be back!
