Popped in for a cheeky pint whilst in the Village. Place oozes character, loved the surroundings and had a great tasting pint of Doom Bar bitter. Thanks Guys

We stumbled upon this gem of a pub and we were very happy to see they had a table available in the restaurant. The service was amazing and food was incredible.
As a vegan, it was nice to see there were a couple of options for me, that weren't the typical plant based burger like other places offer. I finally went with the Quorn sausage and mash and OH MY GOD! So nice!
We've left very happy and can't wait to return to try other things on the menu.

We whent to gunthorpe lock yesterday, very disappointed, so I looked on Internet for place's to eat nr us & the old ship Inn came up , so off we went,
Had a absolutely brilliant meal, we both had the chicken bacon & mushroom tagatel, terrific, service was excellent, we will definitely be back, regards Brian Hart, nottingham.

Great accommodation, lovely quaint private rooms and an impressive breakfast in the morning, building is beautiful decorated and maintained, one of the better pubs/inns we have stayed at while travelling around the UK. Staff were super friendly morning and night!
