Keep saying i am going to try this place when going for a walk around the park but it always slips my mind as they dont open till later, after coming back from holiday decided to treat my parents to a meal here to say thanks for looking after our cats. The food was really good, portion sizes where large, staff where very friendly and the place was busy. Going to try one of the all day breakfasts next as they looked amazing.
I asked for a nice rare steak and was cooked perfectly
One of my favourite places to eat!
The food here is immaculate when you eat in, great portions for great prices, so delicious and so much variety. Food arrives fairly quickly and presented nicely.
The staff are lovely and welcoming and always make sure you have everything you need!
I really can't recommend this establishment enough for breakfast, lunch or dinner.
Amazing!
Lovely breakfast. Only issue was egg shell in my scrambled egg but as there is a sign that says customer complaints next to a mallets no-one is ever going to mention it whilst there. Lol
Huge menu with lots of tasty food - mostly American food, large portions and some creative diner-type dishes. Food is really tasty IMHO - well prepared and good quality ingredient for this type of restaurant. Friendly staff too.
The restaurant is nice enough, simple and casual - overlooks the lovely park.
Knocking a star for a long wait on food, took 35 minutes for (hot) sandwiches and fries with no prior warning. Not a huge deal but just something to note.
Love the milkshakes from here! Always been great service. Unfortunately quite expensive. The one time we ate there properly, was quite greasy, but that was probably a one off. Tasted nice none the less. Good choice on be menu.
My wife and I often visit Jester's and as always it was brilliant
I heard about the big breakfast and went with my two youngest boys. Not the cheapest breakfast but when its served up you realise why. The big boy breakfast was more than enough for me but you can double up on a Fat Boy brekki for those with a big appetite.
When we arrived, we weren't sure if they were open or not as the doors were closed and there was a sign on the door that said "Closed", however, upon further investigation it turned out they were open and had forgotten to turn their sign around. When we walked in, it was eerily quiet, so we called out, and a young lad zoomed down the stairs to greet us.
We sat upstairs and decided what we wanted on the menu. In the background, the Just Eat machine could be heard constantly, which wasn't ideal, but we were thankful we didn't sit downstairs as it would have been much worse.
The staff were professional and courteous from start to finish, but this poor lad had to constantly run up and down the stairs to run tasks and deal with the delivery machines! They should definitely relocate that obnoxious thing!
The food itself did not disappoint, good taste and quality, and we absolutely had to get a pint of milkshake each!
Considering Wetherspoons is supposed to be the cheap place to eat, the whole meal from Jester's came to only £5 more than our subsequent meal there. The food was actually fillng yes, but I feel like the lack of meal options maybe is what is stopping them from being more of a go-to place for people. Overall, it's a nice, relaxing and good quality place to eat that I would definitely recommend, as long as you can block out the noisy Just Eat machine!
Omg,the food is outstanding, the waitress was lovely, couldn't do enough for us and always had a smile on her face, will definitely come back here again
Good, honest food with lovely staff.
