I've been here twice, both times have been a good experience. Had a lovely lunch there today, the fish finger sandwich was really tasty and the salad with it was lovely and fresh. The service was very fast and its in such a nice place it was busy with people on such a nice day.

I had the omelette and coffee- gorgeous! The service was excellent, and on a sunny day, it was wonderful to be able to sit outside under a parasol.

Come here quite often, sometimes for food, sometimes just a drink after a walk along the beach. Child friendly has playground. Dog friendly. Food good, decent selection. Be prepared to queue because it is popular or as I found out this weekend, some people don't know what to order until they're at the front of the queue!!!

This is an excellent place for a cup of tea or coffee, many types of both, and they have some very nice cakes. A good range of ice creams as well.
Ideally placed for a trip to Sparrows Nest Gardens, Ness Point or The Oval or the Maritime Museum and other museums on-site. You could also finish your day with a lovely meal at their restaurant Giardino's on the same site.

Martello's is a great place to visit. It is located in sparrow's nest park We had a lovely walk, we brought peanuts in shells for the squirrels, they will come right up to you if you are patient. Afterwards we sat outside Martello's. It is a little sun trap. Plenty of seating and even a childrens play area with climbing frames and swings. We always have an ice cream simply because the rhubarb and custard ice cream is delicious. We visit a few times each summer and the quality of the food and service is always excellent. Today we had chicken wraps. The chicken was plentiful and moist. The wraps were big and the staff were very kind in changing certain things to suit our taste the wraps came with a beautiful garnish, not just a few leaves but a proper salad with radish, red onion, cress, chilli and mixed leaves making it colourful and appealing. There is also a ramekin filled with coleslaw This was great food at a very reasonable price. If you are looking for a place with lovely views of the sea and a lovely setting, kid friendly and good food... Martello's is the place for you. Don't forget to feed the squirrels 🙂

Wonderful place for breakfast. It's slightly more money than most, but it's extremely well priced because the food isn't better anywhere I know locally. (Full English breakfast)
