One of the best meals I’ve ever had. Steak was cooked to perfection, chips were thin and crunchy with a soft inside and the peppercorn sauce was amazing. I don’t even like onions and the light loaf that accompanied the meal was to die for. Made my birthday and graduation celebrations extra special. Was worth every penny for the way the food is presented, how professional the service and surroundings inside look and most importantly the quality of food��

My hubby and I have always been a fan of M & C but this was our first visit to your Lowton steak house and must say we were very impressed. As always the food was excellent and our steaks were cooked to perfection. Our waiter Andy was very attentive and we wanted for nothing. It was our 47th wedding anniversary and he helped make it very special. Thank you to all at M & C and I have no doubt we will be returning very soon.
My husband and I were treated to a meal at this lovely Restaurant for Mothers Day . On arrival we were shown straight to our table by a very polite, smart gentlemen called Matt . Our drinks order was taken and arrived very quickly giving us time then to browse through the varied menu.
We were looked after by the lovely and attentive Rebekah . We didn't have to wait long for our shared starter of garlic bread with cheese, lovely and hot. My husband then had the Bacon and steak Burger with fries, lettuce, tomato and dressed slaw.He said "It was succulent and tasty ". I had the 8oz Sirloin Steak , Jacket potato, lettuce wedge and a garlic and black pepper sauce . The Steak was really tender and went down well with a large glass of Shiraz. We both decided not to have a dessert as we were full to the brim.
We thoroughly enjoyed our visit .The staff were pleasant and smart. The Restaurant has a great, relaxing atmosphere. I would recommend to anyone Thanks to Rebekah for looking after us .
Had a brilliant family meal last night it was by far the best steak I have ever eaten .the waitress was brilliant .the only complaint I have it the lady on the bar ignored us and served people who came after us and when I said something she was quite rude .
Nice bar area for pre meal cocktails, very well presented food by efficient staff, good choice of wines and no pressure to vacate your table at the end of your meal which makes for a great relaxing time.
Had a absolutely gorgeous meal here with my hubby. We had the 24oz steak share platter and the indulgence taster board for dessert. Everything was perfect including the service
Had a great time with friends and my fiancee, and the food was top notch, and our table host Andy was always making sure we was ok and that our food was ok and if we needed any more drinks. Would defo recommend if you haven't been yet, and will be going again soon myself.

Went last night as birthday treat of my friend x omg the food was amazing ! Thought 18.95 was a bit expensive for a bottle of wine to be honest but as a chef I know that's how restaurants work ! 5 star from me!
We had a fantastic 13th Anniversary meal at Miller & Carter. Rachael took phenomenal care of us, catering to our every need, she couldn't have done more for us and was extremely friendly and polite. We had a mixture of starters, mains and deserts washed down with a bottle of Dom Perignon. The steaks in particular where utterly stupendous, juicy, flavourful and cooked to perfection. We will definitely be back, and thanks once more to Rachael, you made our special occasion that much more rememberable.

Amazing food as always, Steak cooked to perfection. Very friendly service by the waitress and she made sure that we were well looked after.
The only disappointment was our drinks.
1st - My wife ordered an Aperol spritz and was served half the portion of the actual drink. On checking with the bar tender he apologies for not getting the recipe right and correct his mistake.
2nd- I always love a Old fashion cocktail, on checking with the waitress if I could have an Old Fassion she said that they only do a Salted Caramel Old Fashion. I was happy with that. When the drink arrived I could tell the drink was not made how its should have been made. When tasted the drink, I could taste Salted caramel syrup at the bottom of the glass with ice and whisky on top, it was not even burbon whisky, Absolutely rip off, as the bar staff are not trained on cocktail and they dont follow correct recipe's. Went for a second drink to the bar to see how was my first drink made, I was told that they ran out of burbon whisky, so i was refused my second drink.
Will definitely go back for the food but will make sure the cocktails that are served are worth the money the customers are expected to pay.
The food was amazing and cooked to perfection, our waitress was lovely and the atmosphere was perfect. My husband had a lovely birthday. Thank you.

My only desire to make this a perfect Steakhouse would be the option of a Stilton sauce with the Steak options and also the availability of English Mustard
Great service, every member of staff look like they enjoy their job, always happy to help you. The food is amazing, perfectly cooked steaks, and good selection of deserts too. If you have never been to a Miller and Carter, it's about time you booked !!!

My first time visiting Miller & Carter and I was reasonably impressed. Decent sized portions, perfectly cooked steak.
I had the T-bone medium rare with a side of bone marrow and greens. The perfect combination. My first time having bone marrow and I was impressed. It paired so well with the steak.
My steak was about £40, i believe, and the bone marrow about £9. With drinks and table sides, we all averaged about £60-70 each.
Overall a great meal and evening. I would recommend, on the occasions where you can spend that little bit more.

Not are usual Miller and Carter but fancied a change. Drinks are pricey but cocktails are well made. The staff were all friendly, smiley and bubbly. The food was delicious. Would recommend and would definitely come back.

Went for early lunch. Hadn't booked. We were given a table straight away and introduced to out server Jess. We ordered from the lunch menu, baked Cheddar mushrooms and chargrilled chorizo for starters. For mains we had a signature steak sandwich and a stake frites. All the food was delicious. It arrived promptly and was hot and nicely laid out. Our server checked on us while we were eating and extra drinks were brought straight away. We really enjoyed our food and the atmosphere of the restaurant and our server Jess was lovely. We will eat there again. Thank you to all the staff.
Me and my husband had the most amazing meal EVER! The steak was very tender possibly one of the best I’ve had.
Also wanted to thank George for being amazing with the service he provided tonight and for looking after us.
