Review The Dog - Ludham

Jason Owen
What a lovely doggy friendly pub! We stopped here looking for somewhere for dinner! Great choices on the menu. Staff were friendly and helpful. Dog treats available for our dog (which he loved). If we are in Ludham again we will be back to visit!

Proper pub food at fair price. Lasagne was proper pub one. Full of flavour. Salad with it was delicious. Decent sized portion. Carbonara was tasty. Pizza good sized and price. Yes dogs allowed. Very pleasant service.

We came to the Dog Inn on our first adventure in the new camper van stayed a couple of nights for only £20 the owner gave us access to the toilet through the night if needed. It's a great little place good food, good ale and great people very welcoming we wouldn't hesitate returning if we're in the area again.

One of my favourite pubs. Informal but nicely decorated. Wholesome food in big portions. Good vegetarian selection and only a few hundred yards from Ludham Bridge moorings. Good quality pints and very friendly staff and management. Highly recommended......

Great pub if you are mooring at ludon Bridge as it is not too far to walk. Very dog friendly and nice happy staff. Good selection of beers at ok prices. We had the calimari from the specials board and the cod off the main menu. Food was good just a little over priced in my opinion. Overall well worth a visit if you are in the area

We nipped into this pub after mooring for the night. I’m leaving this review because I was blown away by the place. The lady at the bar (sadly I didnt catch her name) gave the most friendly welcome I have ever received walking into any form of hospitality. Better than some 5* restaurants I’ve been too (no joke!!) there was great facilities for dogs. The drinks were very reasonably priced. However, the headline, the homemade white chocolate cheesecake, please please please never get rid of that. Amazing! We didn’t eat from the main menu however I definitely would have if we hadn’t already of eaten the food looked class. Top pub, fully deserved 5* review.

Didn’t eat, but food looked good, good range of ales, ciders & wine, 15 min walk from Ludham Bridge free moorings.

Just stopped here for a drink. As we've always driven past it. Lovely old village pub, very friendly staff, lovely outside seating area.

Lovely rural pub. Very dog friendly with nice touches. We came for a few drinks and lunch with our two dogs after visiting How Hill. The service was quick and friendly. We had a starter each as only wanted a light lunch. The prawn cocktail was very good. Massive portion and really good quality prawns. That filled us up! The food other people had also looked good. Will be back soon as the roast dinners looked lovely!

A great idea at means that you food is hot and you can only blame yourself if the food is not cooked to your satisfaction. We started our meal with whitebate of the special board and my partner opted for the goats cheese. She then had the hotrock prawns as a main and I had the duck breast. Friendly helpful staff, great atmosphere, would recommend. Also live music.

Spot on!!!!! Various GLUTEN FREE food available. The best pub we have visited whilst cruising on the Norfolk Broads. In fact we visited here twice during our cruise. Staff are very welcoming. The new chef Joe has a fantastic outlook on food….keep up the good work. Very well presented and extremely tasty. Thank you to all of the staff for an enjoyable experience!!!
