It was our first visit to Ludlow, so before we went I did some research as my wife is celiac and so I was looking for somewhere that would accommodate us and Bistro 7 looked very good. I contacted them via email with our request and requirements and managed to book in advance.
When we arrived, there was a sign saying fully booked, so we were chuffed we'd got a table. From the get go, the staff were really friendly and accommodating and had taken note of my wife's dietary needs, that was very good we thought. The staff kindly altered one of the dishes for my wife abd were on hand to answer further questions. I had a local beer that was super and my wife a soft drink that was very refreshing. The beer was so nice I had another!
When the starters arrived they looked superb, with flavours to match, they were so nice. Suitably impressed when the mains came they were equally impressed, the combination of flavours were a triumph. The resturant is not huge but there is a very nice atmosphere. The staff were attentive without being overbearing, it was a lovely experience. Unfortunately, we couldn't manage desserts despite the fact they also looked very nice.
Our thanks to all of the staff for making our short stay in Ludlow very memorable, we had a lovely time. We would certainly recommend.

The portions for the main courses were quite small and left us wanting more (not that we are at all part of the 'pile it high /as much as you can eat' brigade!). Maybe it's a cunning plan to up-sell the starters and desserts 😂

First class restaurant in the heart of Ludlow. Very extensive menu and great wine list. Service from the team was attentive and friendly. Will certainly recommend and go back with more friends . Be sure to book.
Brilliant food, very impressed we had hallibut and pork belly
Luckily passed this place, called in to see if they had any availability, and managed to book a table. All the food was beautifully cooked and presented and delicious. Good wines were available, the service was great and the staff were friendly and efficient. Couldn't decide on which dessert to have so had the sharing plate😋Would definitely recommend and come back if ever in the area again.
We have had one of the nicest meals ever at this restaurant on Friday 29th September.
From the moment we arrived the service was attentive and top class.

Our order was taken in a timely manner and the food was served in a timely manner too. It was top class.
Desert was a true show stopper. I highly recommend the Tiramisu.

We wasn’t disappointed. Restaurant fully booked. We had a starter & main. Too full to eat a dessert.
I order the pate for starter and must admit I coulda have eaten this again - it was so tasty. My husband order the pigeon for starter and he thoroughly enjoyed it. Our mains were the beef stroganoff and the steak.
A good sized portion and tasty food.
A nice atmosphere in the restaurant.
Our only negative point would be too many tables in restaurant, as your quite close to other diners, plus no hand sanitiser in bathroom.

I had a really fantastic meal here with my wife and son. Lovely warm welcome. The steak was the best I've tasted and everything else was of a similarly high standard. The chef was happy to adapt the menu to suit our 10 year old. Thoroughly recommended.
Wonderful meal, couldn't fault it! Unfortunately I have to follow a gluten, dairy and soya free diet making life incredibly difficult to the point that I rarely eat out. However, James came out of the busy (Saturday night) kitchen and reassured me that it wasn't a problem to cater for me, out of all the main courses there was only one which wasn't easily adaptable so I had a wealth of choice! Thank you so much, looking forward to a return visit, can't recommend highly enough x
A little bit of fancy! What a fabulous menu... Starters, mains and desserts are superbly varied and most definitely not the regular menu of so many restaurants... Great choices include Cajun bubble and squeak with poached egg, Wood Pigeon and Venison , all beautifully seasoned, cooked and presented. Such an enjoyable meal in a lovely atmosphere. The owners certainly know their trade!
