Dropped by for a post-walk Sunday lunch. Despite outward appearances, the Balance had great service and amazing food - two beef roasts and a stonebaked pizza were each delicious. Slightly tired looking but the food was outstanding.
What a lovely pub! It's not a gastro pub (yawn!). It's a proper pub that does great food too. The staff and locals were very friendly and welcoming. The food was delicious and the beer was perfect. I would love to have stayed longer and will definitely visit again if I'm in the area. Thank you!
Just stopped by on holiday for beef Sunday lunch, fish and chips and steak. Food was delicious, staff very friendly and welcoming. Outside could do with a little freshen up but would certainly come again. I wasn't drinking however could see they had a great range of ales and cider.
