Lovely atmosphere. Sheesha was very nice and smooth and full of flavour. Mint tea was lush. Staff very helpful. Would highly recommend.

My visit to Deserts Rose was very satisfying and enjoyable. The ambiance was warm and welcoming, the staff were very friendly and helpful. The food was fantastic. I was overwhelmed by the portion sizes. Overall I would recommend that you visit this restaurant to experience what I did.

Due to very busy eat out scheme, special chips was cold. Otherwise it is all good

So this place is a hit or miss.
Sometimes they're so amazing i have no words, but sometimes its a slow day. But the good news here is that, 88% of the time they're a hit!
My normal order would be the Lamb Kabsah, Lamb ribs with chips or Chicken Maglobeh, the lamb kabsah is a massive lamb shank that is boiled in seasoning served with either Arabic rice (rice with little noodle strands cinnamon and cardamom) or Kabsah rice which is rice mixed with seasoning and root vegetables.
The miss part is due to the shisha lounge, not many good flavours and truth be told the waiters and waitresses cannot really make the flavours properly. But the food makes up for the lack in the shisha department.
Overall a good visit with good food and decor. Would recommend food but not shisha.

Great meze with a large selection of food for good value. Lamb is amazing and better than the chicken, especially the ribs and kebab. Service was good. There's a good vegetarian option as well. Options top sit in the Shisha area or non smoking.
Its a good thing we like the whole menu as we've yet to get precisely what we ordered but the food that comes is amazing!

It's a great little restraunt and the food was great. The big problem is we had a table booked and the table wasn't ready on time. Also it took an age for the staff to provide us with the menus and then another age to come back and to take our food and drinks orders. The food was excellent, but our mains arrived just as we were finishing the main course so the table hadn't been cleared. If you have plenty of time it's worth a visit. If your looking for a quick bit I would avoid until you have some time.

I came here on the weekend for lunch a while ago and the food was very delicious I ordered Chicken Mansaf and enjoyed it a lot, the sauces on the side were also very nice as well, food took a while to arrive but was still worth it and I would come back again.

Absolutely banging food! I'm no expert, not been to the region or anything, but when you drop in on a random Saturday afternoon and get served delicious food it's obvious a restaurant knows what it's doing.
We ordered a mix of cold and hot starters and some calamari. The hummus is epic and the bread fresh and served warm and soft. The mix of hot vegetable starters were well cooked and all tasted great, especially the couscous balls. The halloumi was perfect: soft, well cooked and seasoned. The vine leaves even tasted fresh and were filled with some flavoursome rice. The calamari were better than expected (so far from any form of ocean) and cooked to perfection.
All in all I'd go back again confident in a great meal. The restaurant itself is very comfortable and the service is attentive and friendly. Prices are very fair. A definite must visit!
