Just had a lovely meal at The Barrels. Tasty food at great price and friendly welcome from staff.
Traditional pub which I have visited for almost 40 years. It's stood the test of time despite neighbouring properties trying to close it down. Full of interesting characters and Malcolm the current landlord is very warm and inviting. Amazing place to watch sports with multi TV and even individual booths. Great prices and nice economic food to a high standard. I'm very pleased that it continues offering a great environment with music at weekends thrown in.
Lovely pub relaxed atmosphere, very friendly and welcoming bar staff.
It was nice to see fully stocked fridges with a good selection of chilled ciders and lagers. Huge choice of spirits and beers.
Sat in the garden, which, might I add was very clean - bar staff came out to clear empty glasses regularly.
Food is fresh, made on the premises - very tasty burgers.
They have had a birthday party and several wakes held there, always handy to know.
In general the pub was very clean, and tidy, including the toilets!!!!!
I visited the pubs reopening recently. It’s been renovated with new owners and management. Great atmosphere with a lovely beer garden. Family friendly vibes and great selection of drinks at a good price. The pub looks fresh and has a lot parking out front. I enjoyed playing pool and darts, and was served with a big smile. Will definitely visit again.
Lovely ladies now service with a smile and chat. Quiet presently but that's fab for playing pool and darts. Lush cocktails at good prices too!! Wish new management all the best!
Excellent food and attentive staff. Nothing was too much trouble and we felt really welcome. Lots of screens for viewing sports and an outdoor seating area too. Will be back soon! Thanks for a great time!

The Barrels is a great spot for a few drinks and a game of pool/darts. The staff are lovely especially Bev and Evelyn. Also been told they will have food on in the next couple of weeks
