I love when I work in St Albans ❤️. I get to have one of my favourite treats from Comida_Brasil. The portion sizes are great. The food is amazing. I love the chicken, sweet potato fries and salad..... can't get enough of this ..... try it... you'll love it
Couldn't recommend this place more. If you want a quick warm hearty lunch on the go then this is the place for you! There are plenty of great options including meat fish and veggie brazilian stew type dishes all served with rice. The tastes and flavours are out of this world and all for a very reasonable price. I tend to find the regular portion enough for me but they do a larger portion too if you're feeling particularly hungry. The owner behind the counter was more than happy to give me two half portions of the different dishes so I could try them both rather than commiting to one.
This is my favourite food stall out of all of them on a Wednesday or Saturday in St Albans. I love the pork and bean stew type dish with rice- it’s amazing and decent portion size.
havent had this in a few years but at the time it definitely was the best street food u could get around st albans. miss this place!
Every dish is brilliant but I particularly like the beef and cassava! And the chilli oil🤤
Luton market boasts a rich assortment of world cuisine, but I settled my regular visits upon Comida Brasil. Christina and Paul are such welcoming hosts and provide home-cooked and genuine Brazilian food, priding themselves on the authenticity. The food is delicious and whether you have plain or spicy tastes, there are dishes for each. The snacks are also very more-ish, and when visiting serve as a delightful starter or something to have with a drink.
If you are in the Mall, stop in for a lunch or quick snack and treat yourself.
Enticed my friends to join me and try the great looking and rich aromas of the Comida Brasil stand in St Albans Market today and what a delight to enjoy warm spicy food tasting like home cooked and with the same generous portions.
We had the Vaca Atolada (Brazilian beef stew) and the lightly spiced Moqueca de Peixe (fish stew) which was more than delicious. Regrettably the coxinha (literally "chicken thighs") where not available, but this only gives me good reason to return.
You know when food is good that it remains the subject of conversation late into the afternoon!
Well done guys . . . and thank you . . .
