Great staff and location, super cute and part of a restaurant which has delicious breakfast, the beds were a bit uncomfortable and I heard some noise throughout the night but I would definitely stay here again! UPDATE: I ended up staying another night, and got moved to another room. It was absolutely wonderful, and I got to try the dinner and drinks which was also a hit!

Cosy and well-run pub right in the centre of town. Really good food as well. Friendly staff throughout. Whether you would like lunch after shopping or watching a game in the evening - the Red Lion would work well for you.

Stopped for lunch and had the All day vegetarian breakfast. It was lovely. 2 large sausages, 2 fried eggs, 2 hash browns, mushrooms, baked beans , toast and butter for £7.99. Would definitely recommend.

Best PIES!!! If you want a BRILLIANT atmosphere, delicious food and fantastic Ale (& beer)... then this pub is the place to visit. And if it’s authentic British Pie you’re looking for — THIS IS THE PLACE!
I ordered a mouth watering STEAK & ALE PIE and there were a few other choices. The service and experience is always soooooo great here. I will recommend to my family and friends
