What a pleasant experience - we were serve by Paulina and from the first moment it was a joy. If Paulina was living in Cambridge I would strongly consider employing her. Friendly - looking to help with extra sales without being pushy. Lovely breakfast - we had the Big Smoke Breakfast and it was lovely. Perhaps a bit pricey but well worth the money. Nice and clean and great atmosphere.
Big Smoke house straight away stood out to me today when waiting in departures, a classy but exciting aroma. As I walked in about to take my seat, Paulina straight away put me at ease, explained that there was no need to go for to the bar to be served as she would serve me, asked if I would like food aswell as the obligatory airport beer I had in mind. Paulina served me fast and efficiently! Kept checking in also if I was ok and/or would like anything else. Lovely service, food a bit pricey, but is of great quality!! What an away to start a holiday!!
For an airport place it is rather good. I was shown to my table (which was being cleaned by the hostess) very quickly and advised that due to busy time, it may take about half an hour for my food to be served. To my surprise, my food was served in less than 10 minutes. The full English breakfast was decent, although the sourdough toast could have been three times thicker. Overall, decent experience.

We were served by Jerome, who was very prompt to bring our food and had a good sense of humour. Food was unexpectedly good. I had a minute steak which was large, perfectly cooked (pink in the middle) and came with a large portion of fried potatoes and salad. All portions were generous for the price and service was fast despite it being very busy. Thoroughly recommended to fill yourself up before a No-frills flight. Atmosphere wasn’t bad but how good can the atmosphere be in the middle of an airport terminal.
To be honest wasn't expecting much from an airport breakfast. However, pleasantly surprised. Food was very good, and staff great. Other airport food outlts could learn a lot from them.
Amazing little place in the centre of Luton airport that actually serves really good food and has lovely staff.
Was helped by the very friendly and welcoming Summer Giri who really made me feel welcome .
Bonus: the chairs in the middle had power points and also provided an amazing location to people watch while you wait for your flight !
Was the only place we could really eat because there’s no halal options. So opted to have fish and chips. Good portion sizes but the fish did have some bones. But they did write this on the menu. The price was decent for the airport. Service was a little slow but Louis was really good. Overall, it was a good experience.
Paulina was very welcoming when we arrived into departures at Luton Airport looking for somewhere to get a drink, food and seat.
Samples of wine (Castillo de Mureva Verdejo) and beer (Fruju by Big Smoke Brew Co. Pale Ale) were offered and as both were lovely we stayed!
Food choices were good, plus swaps were possible.

Great place to stop at and have a breakfast whilst you wait for your flight. We visited at around 4AM and had a smoothie, breakfast burger and some juice. The burger was lovely and the smoothie was very nice too.
Slightly expensive but it is in an airport so it makes sense. Better than a lot of the other options in Luton Airport in my opinion!
