Don’t judge the outside because there is a very walk welcome inside and delicious no frills roast! The dog even got his own portion on the house. Lovely walks nearby too.

Fantastic peaceful site that makes you feel welcome. Stunning views all round and a 2 minute walk to some fantastic places to walk the dog. Owner and bar staff could not be more welcoming and to say their dog friendly would be an understatement. Definitely highly recommend and look forward to returning and exploring the sights further.

Great pub and campsite. The entrance was plenty wide enough for our 2.4m wide motorhome. Gravel hardstand pitches were very good though not quite flat. Water was available but Dave (the landlord of the pub and campsite) asked us to be aware that water was metered so use it carefully.
The pub menu was typical pub food But the food served was far better than average. Really good food, which was lovely.
Would definitely stay at the campsite again on a stopover.

Visited today for lunch with my family and what a lovely surprise! Original and well thought out dishes, fresh quality produce and beautifully presented meals. Wait staff and chef offer a very personal service with lots of considered effort ensuring everything is to your liking. Hospitality at its finest! Highly recommend a visit. You will not be disappointed.

Found this pub by default looking for somewhere to eat. What a gem!!
Made to feel very welcome (including our dog) as their service was almost over. The food wasn't rushed out and was absolutely lovely. Lovely service by everyone there. Thank you to all ❤️

Absolutely love coming to the blacksmith. Food always lovely and the chef is awesome, nothing is to much for him and always caters for our needs.
The best Sunday dinner around. We absolutely love it. I have a fussy 5 year old and she eats all her dinner.
Staff are great, friendly and very helpful.
We love our Sundays coming for dinner. See you all again soon
