This was recommended to us by our hotel owner. It is best to book ahead. We were a walk-in on a Monday night, and the place was full.
There is a fish special and other fish/shellfish specials of the day.
There was plenty of staff, and we did not have to wait long between courses.
It's not cheap, but it's well worth the extra as food is all fresh and excellent.
Incredibly fresh ingredients and all the elements of the seafood platter were very nice. Especially loved the roe and cream cheese, the mullet goujon, the mussels and the crab. We ordered a bbq pork belly starter to go alongside - while it was tasty, the meat was a bit dry but that could be down to personal preference. Staff were friendly.
The creamy fish soup starter is absolutely amazing here, may it never leave the menu!! We eat here every holiday and it’s always so good. THANKYOU.
Really great seafood, and very good value. The gurnard with risotto, red pepper sauce and charred sweet corn was delicious.
The hake with ratatouille and crab Mac n cheese balls was equally good.

Great seafood restaurant with very reasonable prices, highly recommended to book in advance as they get rather busy. Lovely view of the beach if you manage to grab a table at the front on a good day!

We had dinner here for our first night in Lyme Regis. We booked online and were seated on arrival with a baby chair waiting.

The food was the highlight and it was exceptional! Both my partner and I had the seafood platter special and it was delicious. The right amount of everything with bread on the side. They had children's menus and our boys had the fish goujons with chips. The pricing was very reasonable and probably the best value for money compared to other places we ate for dinner in Lyme Regis. We had other pricier fish restaurants booked for the following two evenings we were in Lyme and this one was by far the best.
I did take a photo, but had already eaten some of it by then as it looked so appetising!
Nice pub grub, reasonably priced, always plenty of specials on the board if you don't fancy ordering from the menu, we personally had traditional fish and chips, the batter was as light as the fish. Purched on Lyme sea front, and their is seating outside if the weather is fine.

Only had a quick bite to eat so can't properly comment on the full menu, but the location is brilliant for chilling and watching the world go by.
Pleasant staff and efficient, would love a couple of cushions on the chairs on the terrace lol.
