I would have missed this place completely, as it’s in between the two main shopping streets in town, and boy would I have been missing a treat. With its delicious (very authentic) tapas and fabulous cocktails, this cosy little restaurant is well worth a visit. Charming staff too. The Prawns pil-pil were the highlight for me…I felt like I was back in Spain…but my wife enjoyed the croquetas more…but everything was good. This will be top of my list for next time we’re in Lyme Regis…and I will probably try to sync up my visit with one of their cooking classes - I’ve always felt scared to try making paella but I would bet that fear will evaporate after a class here.

Lovely food at the strawberry tree last night. It has a nice balance of being laid back without being slow. Enjoyed a Local beer with my meal too. Booking ahead is recommended!

5 star food, service and atmosphere. If you’re in lyme regis, you must go! Lovely ambience, food and drink absolutely superb and delightful service. Favourite evening out with my mum in Lyme Regis. Thank you Strawberry Tree!

What a superb little restaurant!! So redolent of native Spanish restaurant, the serving staff were wonderfully friendly and relaxed. The food was EXCELLENT, we were there on Paella Night and it was delicious. The starting dishes, the desserts lovely accompaniments. Just superb!!

Lovely atmosphere excellent food and drink. If you like Spanish food this is the place. You will need to book . The food was excellent, fresh and tasty I would highly recommend.

I had my 65th birthday party at The Strawberry Tree. We had it for a private party the food was AMAZING staff are great and made us feel very welcome. Can’t thank you enough for making my day so special. I will definitely be back next time I am in Lyme. Thank you for everything 🥂🥳

Superb Paella Cookery Class - Loved it!! Ed & Giselle were SO passionate that it's infectious and makes it a delight to be there learning about Spanish cuisine and culture. The olive oil tasting included was a great (and enlightening!) bonus plus we loved the feeling of togetherness eating our creations for lunch - delicious. Huge thanks for making our weekend!!

Third time eating here and we can easily declare that it’s the best place to eat in town! The staff have always been so lovely and really know their stuff about the menu. Delicious selection of wines and digestifs. And of course it’s a beautiful place to sit and enjoy tapas!

We had a lovely time at The Strawberry Tree - on arrival you can choose from pre-pared tapas or from the menu. The food was tasty and the service attentive. The adjacent garden is so lush and welcoming!

Tasty food and very good wine. It's a family run restaurant so felt like going to a family home for dinner. There was no rush and we took our time and thoroughly enjoyed the evening. Would definitely recommend and will be back when in Lyme Regis again
