Fishermans Rest Lymington

Arrived very late (had told them we were delayed) for a booked table but the hosts very kindly kept the table for us even though they were very busy. Served our food quicky and looked after us very well. Food was good pub type...enjoyed the beef and ale pie. Well worth a visit if you're in Lymington.

A good pub with a nice atmosphere, we came for a drink one night and likes it so came back to eat the next night. There were 3 real ales to choose and a straight forward menu with a specials card too. The service is nice, efficient with a relaxed feel. The food was good with nice flavour and nice portion size. Price is about average and the decor is very pleasant with a lovely outdoor seating area with a lovely sheltered feeling. We would definitely return when we are in the area again so I would recommend you try it for yourself. Booking is probably recommended

Great restaurant. Lovely food and staff. The warm pork scratching to start were fabulous, and came with a lovely spicy apple sauce. I had the fish stew for my main which was excellent. My sister had the crab, which she said was lovely. Then we had cheese for dessert, which was great! Good choice of wines. I would go back!!

Excellent, we just went here on the off chance while we was walking about in Lymington for a few days, quite busy ,but still found us a table even though we hadn't booked, Lovely food, brilliant beer (as it is a fullers pub,didn't know when we went in..Happy day's) very friendly and welcoming staff,absolutely lovely evening, will definitely be back when in the area..Thank you.

What a fantastic place to visit would recommend booking in advance in peak time. Staff were fantastic friendly and helpful. Dave was brilliant sorting out our lift back to hotel 😉. Would of happily eaten here on both nights in Lymington if we had known about it,if we are down this way again will definitely give it a visit. Food was fantastic and a good choice of wine. Can not explain how excited i was about the Lobster we had was wonderful 😋 Good choice of food on the menu something for everyone 😋 😊 I would happily give more than 5 stars if could. Deserves to be ranked higher than 10th in places to eat.
