I have lived in Highcliffe for 21yrs,often visit Lymington and I never knew of Shallowmead Nurseries until I saw it advertised on the Highcliffe web site. Visited it today, wasn't prepared for what I saw, this is more like a garden centre. Huge area under cover, big car park, well laid out, it appears to be going through more building and outdoor areas. Large tea room etc. Well worth visiting.

Its a great garden centre and café. Good distance from Lymington and Bolder. Nice plants and garden supplies. The café staff and garden staff are lovely. Food is brilliant and so are the drinks, The outdoor area is excellent. And its dog friendly which is nice. 5/5

Mabel’s @ shallowmead hosted our babyshower for my partner and they did a fantastic job, food was great, service was amazing and they helped set everything up at a great price! Would fully recommend to anyone who’s looking for a venue to host an event. Thank you everyone!

Really enjoyed my visit to this garden centre. It was full of lovely, different items, good quality plants AND had bamboo wind chimes which I have been looking for for months. The cafe had a good choice of cakes and savouries and the service was helpful and friendly. I will certainly be visiting again.

I love Shallowmeads. The plants always seem healthy and well cared for. They sell a few pots and knick-knacks which I don't care for, but there is always good plant advice on hand which is useful for a nursery

Went here this week for the first time. What a wonderful place - atmosphere, food and especially staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful without being over the top. Will definitely be going back soon. Well done to all the staff.
