Popped in this evening for a bite to eat - had a cajan chicken burger and a Pepsi! The service was very friendly however can’t say the food was great! I think they forgot to add any cajan spice and felt a bit “fried” type as such!
Also, they didn’t have any Pepsi but was charged for a pint of Pepsi and got a bottle of coke just slightly different....!
Nice little pub with a large garden and parking, the day of our visit was that of a sunny bank holiday. The White Hart had a mini beer festival and live bands playing.
The toilets were very clean with a good selection of food and drink.
Wow! Great place especially if you have a dog! (Dog friendly to the max!) Was served by Tania who was so welcoming, even offering a small bowl of treats for the hound. Dinner was just what you want from a local pub, filling and unfussy. Will visit again!
Visited the pub whilst at the Hurst View camp site, beer garden was really nice and a children's play area is there.
On our second visit to the pub they had a Sausage and cider festival with the sausages selling for £4 and was tasty. Music was played outside and was ok .
Inside area was nice and staff were ok but not as friendly as other local pubs we've been to
Great pub. Good food choice. Staff very pleasant

Good atmosphere, decent beer, good food and a reasonably sized outdoor area. A dog friendly pub too (if only I had a friendly dog 😕). They had a pub quiz when I went last which was fun, good idea to get people in on a Monday.
VERY dog friendly!
Had a Sunday roast - very good, will definitely go again when in the area.
Dogs were served with a bowl of turkey each, service was friendly.
Highly recommended
Lovely pub / restaurant serving lots of Gluten Free options. Loads of decent beer on tap, good wines & plenty of parking. There's a cosy fire in the pub area & plenty of tables available. The pub is currently being taken over so hopefully they will keep up the good standards so will return soon to see how everything is going as it's one of our local places to visit.
Great cosy dog friendly pub, good menu choice for vegetarians even with the restricted menu at the moment due to Covid.
Ideal for anyone staying at Hurst view Campsite as we were, as its just down the road.
There has been no good available for some time. I'm advised that food might be served by the end of September, under new management.
